Bed for the nightPosted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: It had a bed and free wi-fi.
Cons: The door to the bathroom had a fisthole in it; several tiles were cracked or missing; the beds were uncomfy. Breakfast very limited.
Location: There's a metro stop close by and a few average restaurants. The Pakistani around the corner served the best Peshwari Naan I've ever had.
Check-in was simple and wi-fi free. Stayed five nights for a conference elsewhere in the city. Perfectly perfunctory but in dire need of repair and sprucing up.

Rather basic hotel/hostel but convenient for FiraPosted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: convenient for MWC at Fira Europa
Cons: Price, Furniture, Room, Breakfast, Noise ...
Location: Very close to Para-llel Metro Station, little cafe's and bars
A lot of street noise right through the night ... very difficult to sleep with a window open. I never found breakfast, but I think they charge €5+ ... so it is much better to pop into one of the local cafe's. Bed was a bit rickety but comfy enough ... and room was slightly seedy, but reasonably clean. So convenient for MWC at Fira Europa that it is tolerable for just a few nights ... but still pretty expensive!

location is great for olympic parkPosted Jul 23, 2013
Location: lots of great little cafes and bars
Not the friendliest of staff, but a great location for us with teenagers who wanted to know what Barcelona was really like. Plenty of local places to eat. Not great place if you don't do stairs as we were in the annex, and although they have a lift it doesn't start until the 1st floor which starts after about 20 steps. Our room overlooked the street so ended up being quite noisy during the night. Shower was broken but they did fix it. decent value for money I guess in the city and it is a hostel so 4 beds one room. you are never going to get the Ritz. but for us location was the prime targt.

Everything except the shower!Posted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
I've stayed in many hotels, but I've never been expected to use such a sub-slandered bathing fixture. The rest of my stay was so enjoyable that this glaring deficiency was a daily travail. Go, stay, enjoy, but be forewarned.

Alright hotel for a few days.Posted May 27, 2013
The room was ok very much ok. The price was a bit higher than I would have paid for the comfort and cleanliness but I have no major complains. That said, the room was very silent which is something that I had not yet experienced in a hotel in Barcelona.

avoid unless desperatePosted Mar 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
cigarette burns in the bed linen, damage to the bathroom door (it looked like it had been punched), corridor that stank of smoke, room in a separate building for which I did not have a key - worst hotel I've stayed in in a long long time. One day they didn't even come to make up the bed. Decent location in that it's right on the subway, but apart from that - terrible.
