J'ai aimé : l'emplacement très central, très proche de la place de la Catalonya pour des accès au train - métro ; et bien sûr le prix très concurrentiel. C'est un peu bruyant : ce sont surtout les pensionnaires de passage.

A friendly, well located budget hotel
Budget rooms in very convenient location with an abundance of nearby bars and cafes and very near to the Ramblas on foot. Very friendly and helpful staff with the charm of old Barcelona right on the doorstep. The walls are a bit thin but my neighbours were thankfully quiet. I would stay there again.

The location was brilliant, short walk from La Ramblas, otherwise it is a very small place, hard to find. The beds were fairly uncomfy.

A basic hotel in a brilliant location. Staff were ok and when they learnt it was my birthday they offered us a choice of 2 rooms. They also became more friendly the more we saw them. The shared shower and toilets were clean and a good supply

We knew it was a hostel like hotel but didn’t realize it also serves as an apartment building for regular, long term They live above the hotel guests’ floor and I suppose it was kids running around which we could hear in our room at night. We selected a room with a private There is no a/c. The room was very small and parse which we didn’t mind but the condition was somewhat dilapidated and the bathroom smelled of urine at all times. One of the nights it rained and we could hear a leak in the ceiling above the bed. Our room was next to the public/floor bathroom and all night, every night we heard the slamming of the bathroom door and flushing of PLUS: location was amazing.

A big thankyou to the staff who went out of their way to make our stay so welcoming and who helped us when we really needed it towards the end of our stay. Spotless place and easy access at any hour. Linen changed daily. Thanks for everything.

The location was amazing, it was just off one of the main high streets. The room was basic, but it was what you would expect for the price. The staff were amazing, much better than I think you would find at a chain hotel. They were very good at understanding my terrible attempts at Spanish, and their English was very good. It's not far from the cathedral in the Gothic quarter, and the beds was only a 30 minute walk, with a few detours made on the way. There was plenty of bars, shops and restaurants only a couple of minutes away

Noisy and smoke smell room
The walls are thin, resulting in high noises from the other rooms. The street are equally noisy too. The room is not clean.

Pension 45 is your low end typical hostal in a major city. The shower was WAY TO SMALL and the hot water facet burned you if you are not careful. The noise from the city street would sleep through the walls. There is no elevator for the 3 flights of stairs. Not a bad location, right near The Rambla and walking access to transportation. I’d recommend for young people only.

Clean but very uncomfortable.
It was clean but he bed was very uncomfortable. It was a platform with a thin piece of foam as a mattress. Felt like I was sleeping on the floor. It was noisy at all times of the day, and there was no air conditioner. The wifi was unstable. The service was a little rude at times. Great location and clean but if you're looking for comfort it is not the right place

I never used this hostel again I complained to a staff because he called loudly to his friends or family Why did he enjoy calling during working time It was so noisy that I could not stand any more What was worse, so unfriendly and arrogant

The front-desk guy named Mario is really annoying. He has no respect for customers and he even tried to teach me how to pronounce my name. Just ridiculous. In addition, i reserved a room with Queens bed and he gave me a room with 2 double beds..... avoid this hotel if you can.

I arrived at 3 AM and only stayed until mid-morning so did not spend long at the hotel. I had to wake up the receptionist to be allowed access to the hotel and found it difficult to sleep as locals were congregated outside the hotel.

The hotel is located in good walking area. One of the front desk was drunk, rule, and impolite. The hotel is very noises all day, all night. People on street are partying, drinking, yelling, and fighting. The rooms don't have conditioner. If you try to party all day and night in loud area, you choose the right hotel. Otherwise, totally not recommended.

Central to everything.
It was close by to the Catalunya Station and easy to find. No A/C but a fan was provided. Room was big enough for two and was very clean. Warning though...the Catalunya Station and the Familia Sangrada station are swarming with pick-pockets so be careful. They work in teams and one of them got my Spouse's wallet. Luckily he had all his important cards and money in his money belt. Other that that... Barcelona is a beautiful city and so are the beaches, and drinking Sangria's on the Platja Nova Beach is a must!

Good price for a centrally located hotel
Just off las ramblas so very centrally located. Service was friendly at times, but also not so great at other times. We were fortunate to have a balcony room which was great as the street was constantly busy so people watching was a must for us. Rooms aren't the nicest but for the location, the price is great.

Great stay at Pensión 45
Great stay at Pensión 45. FANTASTIC location - right in the center of Barcelona. Rooms are not air-conditioned, but with the fan and open window we were still quite comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful.
