Hello! First of all, we don’t understand why you didn’t tell us anything about it to our reception, we work 24 hour and we work everyday to resolve all the problems that could happen. Our rooms are cleaned everyday, and our common areas the same because our cleaning team is working full day. We regret the incident with the air conditioning, but we could have solved it at the moment when you were here, we don’t understand why you are telling it now. In addition, you have to know that our technological system stops the air conditioning when you open the window.Twentytú team is friendly and kind, so we don’t believe you when you say our receptionists are rude because our main work is help our guests.We hope next time you can see us in a different way ;)

Hello leiliani, we regret that you didn't appreciate our sustainable actions to contribute to the environment and the planet. Therefore we give importance to the responsible use of the consumption of all resources, in this case water, one of the most necessary goods for the survival of human beings and which is becoming increasingly scarce. Currently, climate change has caused different impacts on the water cycle, which is why there are many droughts, melting glaciers, rising sea levels, and changes in rainfall and snowfall. These impacts depend on the uses that humans make of water, since we consume more water than we can afford, for example, during a shower we use an average of 15-20 liters per minute, which is equivalent to the same amount that a person drinks in 50 days. Therefore, we consider that with the timer of our showers we make a good use of water consumption and, thus, we contribute to the planet to conserve as much water as possible.Our light timer system is the same, we consider that you can see in the night with the small lights on the wall. In addition, at 0.00h is time to go to sleep and to respect the rest of the other guests.

We regret you have this opinion about us, we think this doesn't represent us, we have been working for 10 years to offer the best services to our guests.The first thing you have to know is that Twentytú is a Hostel, we aren't a Hotel, so we offer the services included in this kind of accommodation. In Hostels the towels and the soaps aren't included, but you can buy it in our 24hour reception. The same thing happens with the bed service, in Hostels the guests have to make their own bed.In Twentytú our rooms are thought only to sleep and to take a shower, because we have big common areas to enjoy with your friends or family. The quadruple rooms don't include television, because we've it in the chill out common area, and you can use microwave in the kitchen. All of this information is included in our Expedia profile, we don't understand your complaint about all these aspects, all this is explained and shown in pictures.We're classified as a eco and sustainable Hostel because we've installed high technology and we make a lot of actions to protect the environment. About the ultraviolet filter, it's a sanitization air conditioning system which eliminates bacterias and virus and the only way to see it is to turn off the lights in the room, you'll see a purple light coming out of the air conditioner, you can't hear it, it's a filter, it doesn't make any noise.The quadruple room's price was 160/night but you'll book it through an intermediary, Expedia, and for this there is an additional cost. However, it's high season in Barcelona, one of the most important cities in Europe, so the prices are higherWe don't understand why you found the room with full of rubbish, our cleaning team is working every day to keep everything clean and tidy.About the noises, in Twentytú Hostel we try to create the best atmosphere and to be in silence, we receive a lot of kind of travellers from around the world, but sometimes it's impossible to control all of them. The last thing, we're located close to the city center, close to the beach and close to Sagrada Familia, so it's impossible to be close to the airport because it isn't in the Barcelona city, it's outside.We hope next time you'll see us in another way ;)

About the constructions, we're located in 22@ district, the technological area in Barcelona which is growing up everyday to be better, but we can't do anything about it, it's an external issue. this area is characterized by large companies, but there are restaurants and a shopping mall nearby. It's a very safe area and very close to city center.About the prices, now it's summer time and high season in Barcelona and all the prices are very high in everywhere. In addition, Barcelona is one of the most popular cities in Europe, so prices depend on the demand.Twentytú is classified as a Hostel, we aren't a Hotel, so we offer the services included in this kind of accommodation. So, towels and amenities are not included in the hostels services, but you can buy it for a good prices in our 24 hour reception. Also, not all the Hostels have a coffee machines during all day. Normally, you have to pay for the lockers in everywhere, but our lockers service it's free during the day. Only if you have to keep the luggage more than one day the price is 6. but we consider this is normal and very common.The vending machine that we have offers the standard prices established by the machine company, which are the same at the national level.If you consider that there're some furniture broken, we are 24 hours in reception to help you in everything you need, our maintenance team are working everyday to keep everything in good condition.About the fridge, we apologize for those 12 hours that we could not use it, but we consider it necessary for a good maintenance of the refrigerator. However, it cools perfectly, we don't understand your comment that it doesn't cool.We hope next time you'll see us in a different way ;)Twentytú Team

You have to know that Twentytú Hostel is classified as a Eco low cost Hostel and we offer the services that are included in this kind of accommodation, so the soap and the towels aren't included, we aren't a Hotel, but you can buy it and rent it in our reception. In Twentytú we've installed a technological system to reduce the environmental impact and to use the energy in a efficient way. So, our rooms have included a timer system: you can use the showers for 17 seconds and you can press again to use it the times that you want; in the shared rooms the lights are turned off between 0.00h until 08.00am to respect the rest of our guests. Our staff is working everyday in our 24h reception to make our guests to feel at home and to help in every problems that can happen. We're in a technological area that is growing up, so there are places in construction and sometimes are living squatters, but they aren't dangerous for our guests. Twentytú Team

Hi! Thanks for your review. We would like to emphasize about our situation. We are in the Poble Nou District. One of the neighbourhoods of Barcelona that are changing these days. The nearest metro station is Marina and it's only 3 stops to Plaza Catalunya. The good thing is that the area is much more quiet and there's no traffic noise. About the shower, we have a timed faucets because of we are one of the most sustainable hostels of the worlds, and it lasts 17 seconds as the lights... Best regards!! :)

Thanks for your comment! The room window cannot be opened due to security reasons and to contribute to the energy saving. However, windows are opened daily during the room cleaning. TwentyTú is working to find other alternatives.

In our Hostel the breakfast is already included in our economic room price. We take your comment into account and we will keep working to offer a breakfast to the liking of everybody. Due to our saving energy system policy and concern about the environment. To mantain the proper operation of the air conditioning system and heating, the windows can not be open apart from the cleaning shift every morning. The water of the showers turns automatically off every 15 seconds in order to avoid the waste of water. Twentytu hostel is a sustainable building,one of two in Barcelona,so we must accomplish some requirements.
