"It would be hard to imagine a more comfortable place to stay than the Aldebaran Hotel. The staff was amazingly accommodating and helpful. The interior of the hotel is more like a high end residence than a hotel. We ate at the hotel three nights and the food and service were excellent every night, although pricey by Argentine standards. "A lovely little lodge with quaint, rustic decor but excellent amenities. The room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfy, and the heated pool was very nice. It's a little outside of the "touristy" village, but that's a bonus if you want some peace and quiet. They even prepared our breakfast a little earlier for us as we were hitting the road early."

"This is a very neat hotel. The room design is cosy and every room is equipped with a spa bath tub. Somewhat surprisingly there is no minibar in the rooms. This was somewhat unlucky because I caught the flue the day before we arrived at the hotel and i needed a lot of beverages. But the staff was really helpful and provided me with tea regulalry and organized a doctor who came by. But be careful: The hotel is not located where hotels.com shows it on the Map. "The Marianas, mom, daughter ( and grandmother and grandaughter also although i didnt meet them) are lovelyand were great with arranging transport and giving recommendations. Lots of pictures of mom and others Nordic skiing and the daughter enjoys it immensely also and can arrange a guide in the winter if one wants to find the best places...very tempting! Everybody in town knows them..."
