Great House
We really enjoyed staying at this house. It was well laid out and super clean. We attended a concert in the Old Mill District/Hayden Homes Amphitheater and loved how close this house was to the venue. Would stay here again!

Not as advertised bedrooms + very loud hwy noise
It is not four bedrooms. It is three bedrooms. Plus an above-garage stuffy rumpus room (w/no closets) with small old pullout couches that are not made up for sleeping and no mattress pads. This is not what we chose and paid for; I always choose 4 bedrooms because we are 4 full grown adults who want their own spaces and a real bed to sleep on. All bedrooms are upstairs, so not good for anyone with mobility issues. Not quiet or peaceful as it’s directly above a major road. The good thing about the location is that this road leads to lots of hikes and lakes. Between the noise + the heat, no one slept well. Absolutely nothing stocked in the kitchen so bring your own salt and oil even. A/C did not work and it was over 90. The local Vacasa folks got it repaired in a day, but then it was icebox-cold downstairs and much too hot upstairs for the rest of our stay. No toilet paper or Kleenex. No book of instructions or local recommendations; it was a bummer not having a welcome or intro from the host. Bring your own kitchen towels as they provided only two polyester yuck towels. Fans in both upstairs bathrooms did not work. Steam is not vented. Front door entrance code stopped working almost immediately. We had to use the key in the lock box. Would not stay at this particular place again, but the neighborhood is a nice convenient area.

Unimpressed with Vacasa
Dear VRBO, we had a less than satisfactory experience with Vacasa and I want to let you know some details. For one, Vacasa was awful about responding promptly. It took 10 full days for a representative to answer my email asking a question if one of my guests could park her compact trailer in the driveway during the stay. They responded while we were already staying there saying it is not okay. This was obviously too late as we didn't have any time to make separate accommodations. I even tried calling and got put on hold for 10 plus minutes until I hung up. Now, for the house itself - there were zero instructions for any of the appliances. I tried to find a guide and even created a Vacasa account to see if the 'My Trips' page had any information - spoiler: it did not. The upstairs air conditioning did not work. the kitchen sink garbage disposal did not work and had a plastic trash bag tied around the piping under the sink clearly trying to mask a leak. In general the cleanliness was sub-par too, the furniture on the porch was filthy and there was hair in the hot tub. I hope this criticism is constructive as I would not wish my experience upon other guests.

Completely "good enough"
This place is... fine. The location is completely awesome for skiing . The fireplace is great. It looks nice when you walk in. However, there are some issues. Even though many reviews mention things like a broken dishwasher and the manager always says "fixed now" EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It was broken when we were there. The linens are not great, the mattresses are enh. The place could use a few informational signs e.g. sauna, 5 remotes (we are a tech group, it was still pretty confusing.) The kitchen is a mishmash of stuff. But hey, it worked fine for us, we had a great time, and it will likely work fine for you too. Expect some broken stuff, you will be fine.

Close to everywhere!
Overall, we loved the house and it was super cozy. There are a few things to be aware of. We are supposed to have 4 parking spaces, however, the house next to us had a boat taking up part of our driveway, so it was good we only had one vehicle. There is barely enough space to turn around with one car, and multiple vehicles would be impossible. We found it easier to back in down the shared driveway. The house needs some love. It's cobwebby and we definitely swept up animal hair, even though we didn't have a pet with us. There doesn't seem to be any extra protocol in place for covid, as the house wasn't super clean. The counters had crumbs when we arrived. The bathrooms and beds appeared clean and were comfortable. We were only given one kitchen towel and a sponge, would recommend a couple dish rags and a couple more dish towels. There is no information about how to use the sauna and no use of the hot tub. We really enjoyed the fireplace and a kitchen space big enough to cook and be all together. We definitely made some memories over the weekend

Hot Tub and Space for Family
We were in town for mountain biking and the Hot Tub turned out to be life saver after long miles on the bikes. With two family room spaces, this property would be good for a family. Adults and kids can enjoy separate activities. The 3 star rating is due to a few management issues related to cleaning being less than expected for the price point. Leaving specific comments for management company

House needs a little TLC
This house has potential, but it needs a little TLC. We ran into numerous problems during our stay. First, the water heater didn't work. Luckily, the property management company came out quickly to fix it. But in addition to that, we had a few more frustrating experiences. The shower door was missing a screw and fell off onto my son. Getting the tv's to work required an advanced degree in rocket science and the remotes were non-responsive. It's a beautiful home, but it would be even better if they did a bit of maintenance and upgrades. Loved the fenced yard. It was secure and perfect for our dog.

Very convenient location and pet friendly
Five adults and one infant all appreciated the roominess and amenendments provided, including the huge bonus room, barbeque, hot tub and empty 2 car garage. Quick walk across Century Drive took us to the river trail system for a great hike. The only negative was the road noise which we expected given the location, but being able to bring our dog along more than made up for it.

Great pet friendly location.
Beautiful house only a few minutes drive from downtown and old mill district. Walking distance to the river trail and fully fenced. I didn't give five stars because I feel there were many small details that could have been much better at this price point such as nicer sheets, nicer towels, an extra blanket or two, and more (and by more I mean any) simple amenities that are common in similiar sized and priced vacation rentals such as board games, movies, etc. Overall it's a nice, large house, but a few small upgrades would go a long way. Anything other than the cheapest possible linens, single ply toilet paper, paper towels, would have been great. I understand it's a rental not a resort but more than one ounce of dish soap and more than one tiny towel per person in a house with a sauna and a hot tub (both of which were clean and worked great) would quickly and easily make this a five star rental. Would definitely stay here again.

great access to the mountain
Although the house address is a side street to Century Drive, it's actually right on Century Drive. And that's the main thoroughfare to Bachelor. There is a lot of traffic noise all day and night. It's a very convenient location to both the mountain, the river trails, and downtown. Check-in was easy. There were lots of pans with lids, but no baking dishes or wine glasses. If you plan on cooking, you may want to check on available equipment before you arrive.

Great place for a large group!
House was great - loved that we could bring our dog and had enough room for a group of 8 (comfortably). Hot tub and sauna were awesome after a day of skiing. Super close to Mt. Bachelor. Checking in/out was a breeze. Only thing was we couldn't find kitchen towels, but other than everything was perfect. And even that is no biggie :)

Bend getaway
Great location on the way up the mountain from Bend. Across the street from a running path. House is great. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Hot tub is perfect. We had an issue w the pilot on the water heater going out, and the owners were great. They had someone out to fix it fairly quickly, esp considering it was a holiday weekend. We will definitely stay here again.
