Nice comfortable hotel room was great warm and welcoming.... Morning breakfast buffet was poor. The weather was very bad rained everyday and was cold my break away was a disaster. Nothing to do with hotel just how things goes...

Very central hotel. No elevator access to top floor, seems like they give those to hotel booking sites. They allowed us to change as seniors don't want to haul luggage up the final floor.

Friendly and helpful staff. We requested a room change because of jet lag and music playing in the square. We were quickly and graciously accommodated. Beautiful and spacious room. Loved the furniture, decor, amenities, closets, refrigerator and bathroom. Neighborhood was great for dining and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is in a great location with lots of dining and shopping options. Parking garage is relatively close. The issues I had were….the AC in my room didn’t work and the guy at the front desk even restarted it but it still didn’t work, there is no AC in the breakfast room and it was miserably hot, the breakfast is average and the key card to our room stopped working a couple of times. Discounted parking garage is 18 euros.

The place is excellent. The hotel was beautiful clean Dave the guy that worked there was excellent. I got there early. There was no problem with checking the convenience to the Guggenheim museum. Everything was beautiful into old town. Loved it very much very clean, very safe and beautifully kept. The workers, the men that work there were excellent. Would definitely stay there again

The key card kept malfunctioning. The room safe was not easy to use - was very inconvenienced since we had to carry all our cash and jewellery with us on a full day tour after we checked in.

Perfect Bilbao hotel!
Super location, right at the old town. Lovely room, comfy bed and a decent breakfast. Coffee at breakfast wasn’t great - everything was black even if you asked for milk in the machine. But a minor point. Breakfast offering was plentiful and tasty. Location, location, location were all that mattered here and that was perfect. Guggenheim was a 20 min walk along the river, metro was nearby. Lots of food options nearby in a vibrant and safe area. Taxi rank outside, and airport just 20 mins by taxi. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel was in a wonderful location but unfortunately the fiestas were extremely noisy and we got little if no sleep for three nights - despite this, we both enjoyed Bilbao very much and appreciated the wonderful culture of the city.

Good place for a weekend break
Helpful staff. Tastefully decorated spacious room with good selection of toiletries, kettle etc. Very comfortable bed. Hotel well situated in the centre of the city with good shops, restaurants & cafes nearby. There’s a very pleasant riverside walk to the Guggenheim gallery. Felt very safe walking around in the evenings.

Everyone was lovely and fluent in English. Spacious room. Close to elevator but not noisy. Only complaint was wifi wasn’t working and didn’t work entire night we stayed. Otherwise great location.

Great hotel in the old town. Clean and quiet.
Great hotel in Bilbao's old town. Very clean and quiet with comfortable beds and only 30 mins to the ferry. Park in the nearby Arenal car park with 10% hotel discount. Expensive breakfast and there are numerous places nearby to get breakfast. We would definitely use it again.

Good location but.....
Strange layout of room for 7 nights. No dresser or drawers of any kind. We were not informed of having to book a breakfast time. (This was rather unusual and unnecessary as the breakfast room was large enough to accomodate most of the guests at the same time). Pleasant front desk staff. Good location. Very poor lighting in both room and bathroom.

Just across the river from the train station, with a taxi rank 10m away, 1.5Km around the river bank to the Guggenheim museum, literally hundreds of cafes / restaurants / bars within the old old town, and a 'corner shop' next door for the snacks on the way home! Cleanliness of hotel was fantastic, but air conditioning needs attention to make it more efficient. Breakfast was fine, but would have liked more 'local' options. Overall I would use this hotel again.

Excellent location to visit the city and conveniently located to the train station, should you wish to visit other parts of the area outside of Bilbao. Would return there again!

The hotel is clean, the room was a good size for 2 people and very comfortable. The only unfortunate event was the was a receptionist when we arrived that was less than friendly and boarding on rude. All the others were very helpful and polite.

This is a beautiful hotel which is walking distance from the train station and centrally located in the historic district "Casca Vieja". Numerous restaurants were available in the area. Our room had a view over the park and river across the street. The staff were wonderful. Our room was comfortable and daily housekeeping was provided. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bilbao.
