Great spot and view nice. Dog walks a challenge
Communications with owners was great. Easy access to retrieve key but locking and unlocking the place. Was a challenge. Quirky older place, but cozy enough for our family and pup. The beds were comfy too and lots of TV’s if that’s your thing while at the beach… Kitchen amenities were sparse . Old cookware. Lots of spices etc. though. We especially enjoyed watching the golfers and the view of the water along with beautiful sunsets. We had an unfortunate dealings with ticks on myself and dog so we we made our trip shorter than anticipated.

Beautiful home
We were so delighted with our stay at Birdsong. The home is even nicer than the photos convey. Beautiful setting on the golf course with pretty ocean views. The home is so comfortable. The architecture of the home is very custom and so marvelously laid out. It is spacious, high end finishes, nicely and comfortably furnished and the host(s) are so accommodating and friendly. We loved our stay and hope to come back next year.

We’ve stayed at this home a few times. Great location, comfortable, and a nice area for walks. Close to restaurants. The home had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and there was an outdoor hot tub. Nice and quiet. Owners were helpful and responded to emails. Found a piece of clothing left behind and mailed it to us. Will stay there again

We made some good memories at Windsong. Bob and Diana were great hosts. They were very responsive and hospitable. The place was clean, quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the ocean view.

Great Four Two Couples
We love this house and working with the host. We've stayed at Windsong several times and enjoy. The house has a great set up for two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is cozy, has a great kitchen, hot tub with a view, a real gem. We will be back.

Scenic golf course stay, relaxing, comfortable. Many restaurants nearby but closed on Tuesday& Wednesday. Found restaurants that were acceptable and very good. Only complaint was hot water took a long time.

Overall good value
Bottom line: Good value for the location and property. Pro: - Unbeatable location with easy access to town and Doran Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice. - Kitchen was generally well-stocked and easy to use; we made multiple breakfasts and full dinners (knives are dull but that’s a minor complaint). - The garage is huge and can fit a small SUV; I appreciated that they gave us full access. - Fantastic fireplace, and the property provided three Duraflame logs. Cons: - We felt a bit deceived about the Tesla charger, which wasn’t available (as of this review, the property advertises a Tesla charger and even has a picture of it); - The owner gave us email and a cell phone to contact with questions, but then wasn’t available for several days (we eventually got hold of the alternate number); - Fan in the second bathroom is broken, and based on the condition of the ceiling seems likely to have been broken for a while.

Loved our stay at WINDSONG!
WINDSONG was the perfect rental for our 4 day getaway to Bodega Bay. Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do during our stay, the house is perfectly appointed and the bed was really comfortable. We would definitely book here again!

Charming and lovely
Absolutely precious. We were in love at the entrance. Deer, hummingbirds and a breathtaking view welcomed us. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds!! Tons of Books, movies and games that we never got to investigate but will next time. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect for a quiet getaway stay
We stayed for 4 weeks as a working vacation. Diana and Robert are five star hosts. The house is comfortable and extremely well-equipped, especially the kitchen. We second the person who said that the beds are comfortable.... really comfortable. We look forward to another opportunity to stay at Windsong.

Home away from home
Lovely location on the golf course. Lots of light and windows made it bright even on the one rainy day we had. Close to hiking trails and town and restaurants. Overall we totally enjoyed our stay.

Clean and Comfortable
Windsong has the necessities I look for: clean (even the windows), very comfortable beds,, and good water pressure in the showers, It’s unusual to find that combo in one beach house. Check-in was easy and the home was well stocked. We even had the use of the garage door remote making our outings easier. To top it off they allowed us to bring our small dog. She particularly enjoyed spotting the 3 deer that came by twice a day. And I must mention again the VERY comfortable beds!

Magical Cottage
The cottage was MAGICAL, on the golf course and a fabulous view of the ocean! The Golf Club had a restaurant and snack bar and a beautiful and easy access to the ocean, dog friendly! Tennis courts, pool, pickle ball courts! You never need anything but to enjoy this Magical Cottage and location! Views from the patio of the ocean and golf course from the living room and patio! The hot tub was Divine! This place is a must for everyone! I will be back! Robert and Diana were Awesome! 🤗⭐️

A wonderful place to relax
As many others have said, the pictures don't do this place justice. The home is very spacious and cozy with great views of the golf course and the ocean. We spend a lot of time on the coast and are looking forward to another stay at Windsong.

Worth Every Penny
WOW! Beautiful views of the ocean and properties around the golf course. Highway for wild life… deer’s, heron’s, qual’s and love the hummingbirds. Definitely going back and have to take my Mom next time b/ c she loves to golf.

Was had at Windsong. The owners are very helpful and the house had everything (and then some) you could ever need! The Bodega Bay Area is a fun place to explore. and the hous is in a great location

Wonderful stay
The property has a lovely "lived in"vibe. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed having the sun room, a perfect spot for games and perhaps a puzzle. We saw lots of quail including a family with many little ones. Also spotted deer. a heron and a coyote. Access to the beach is short drive and well worth the effort.

The house has history that hangs on the walls, in the cupboards and closets. Art work is interesting. Home is dated, clean and comfortable. Quiet and close to everything in Bodega Bay.

Windsong Vacation
We certainly enjoyed our stay at Windsong, with beautiful views, a clean and relaxing home, and yes, lots of wind each day. Doran beach is just down the hill, lots of great restaurants within a few minutes drive, a great canyon hike, and we even spent one morning at Armstrong Redwoods. Wonderful stay!

The master bathroom smelled awful. Strange shape of the house with the add on. Sunroof windows were filthy. Hot tub was dirty luckily the pool man came and empty the spa and got in shape. Won’t be renting this house again.

Bathroom did not seem clean
Master Bathroom had strong smell of urine upon arrival. We tried extra cleaning of the floor and wall next to toilet. this reduced but did not eliminate odor. Tile floor did not seem clean. We decided not to call and confront your housekeeper.

Beautiful house, with an amazing view! Loved staying here. The only inaccuracy was that it is NOT a 15 minute walk to the beach. But the hike to the beach was gorgeous, just park at the trail head to save you a little time.

Had a wonderful time at this property with my mother and daughter. We stayed for 4 days and really enjoyed ourselves. We stayed here with our dogs and absolutely enjoyed every minute. It's in a perfect location, close to the beach, dog friendly and has ocean views! We e joked sitting on the back patio, watching the golfers and going in the hot tub. Would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!!

The listing on VRBO is extremely accurate. This is the perfect house for two couples to enjoy themselves. The house offers privacy and great space to share. The view of Bodega Bay can be enjoyed form inside & out. This houses kitchen is stocked with great knifes and all the cooking gadgets you'll need to cook amazing meals. Most importantly it was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy time with friends.

Perfect Getaway
Windsong was the perfect weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday with my sisters. The house felt like a home - beautiful and cozy, with great lighting in the sun room for our crafting projects. The beds were comfortable, everything was impeccably clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We struggled a bit to get the cover off the hot tub, but it was worth the effort. The back yard is not enclosed, so our pup had to stay on leash to go out. Highly recommend this beautiful home!
