"The residential accommodation itself was spacious, clean, well looked after and with every facility one could reasonably require. The external kitchen BBQ area was simply we best we have come across in a number of years of staying in gites. The pool was very clean and user friendly although it was amongst the largest we have come across. The owner was simply splendid -providing plenty of information and help."

"What an amazing property! It’s charm and warmth were only surpassed by that of the hosts! The house was so comfortable fir the 3 of us. "Virginie is a gracious and generous host. Always around if you need her, but keeping her distance when you want some down time. The house is beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. The setting was glorious and we all enjoyed the many and various sunsets. Lots to do in the surrounding area, but we mostly chose to relax around the little hamlet. Lots of pleasant walks around the vineyards. There was a little noise on Saturday nights from the property next door, which is a wedding venue, but...

"I have just returned from a two week stay in Vensac. The property owned by Veronique was fantastic and very comfortable. The Hot-tub/Spa was also a great facility. Veronique gave us a very warm welcome and was very helpful prior and during our stay. The area is very rural and quiet, with beautiful countryside, beaches and many fields of vines. The provision of bikes was also good as the cycle paths are a great way to see more of the countryside. All in all a great holiday."

"Very clean pleasant gite offering a spot opposite it to rest. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. Very good holidays week. The owner is very cheerful. "

"Nice house in a nice location. Just steps to the massive Sunday market. We enjoyed meeting owner Sylvie. We would recommend letting prospective visitors know about the narrow circular stairway up to living quarters. Some older or disabled folks (or anyone with large luggage) will find the climb a challenge. Also, bring your own toilet paper, hand soap and dish-washing soap."

"The Villa is beautiful and in a perfect location. The Villa however does require updating and some maintenance work. We did not realise the Villa does not supply any bedding or towels, so this had to be flown in and others by car which was frustrating. It would be nice if the Villa can recommend local shops, eateries and places of interest as nothing is supplied or recommended. WiFi took a few days to be sorted and both patio and pool furniture is in need a of change. Overall, lovely Villa."
