There was confusion with my booking, I was first told by the hotel that I did not have a room booked over the phone, so I rebooked. Just to find when I arrived that I had to bookings, and that they would not reimburse me. In stead they gave me a voucher, which is unlikely to be used being that I live in Canada.

Great location right in the city centre with shops and restaurants close by. Parking underground very close to hotel. Reception area was lovely. Room let down by dangerous electrics on bedside lamp- cable damaged and lamp worked only by changing position of cable. No beside power to charge phone.

Grand location
The hotel is a beautiful art deco building. The lobby is Grand and the staff, excellent. I was in my room in minutes. The room was great and the bathroom was a good size comparatively. The location of the hotel, couldn’t have been better, right in the middle of town and a few minutes walk from everything you want to see.

My partner stayed at the hotel from the 28th until the 30th of July 2023. The staff were excellent from the first minute we walked in through the door. The staff are very helpful knowledgeable, The hotel is located in a fantastic area with plenty of historic buildings & fantastic restaurant located around this area, dined out every night wonderful food, wonderful hotel, wonderful area will deafly revisit.

It was great staying in hotel Vittoria in the heart of Brescia old town. Walking around was amazing in exploring very interesting and long history. The room, while stayed true mostly to be authentic, it crossed a bit into being inconvenient. For example the A/C controls were very clunky compared to modern hotels, closet that needs more care (door alignment, modern hinges/closure systems, fresh hangers, etc...). An ice machine would have also been very welcome especially for the hot summer. The hotel itself felt very authentic though, making the whole experience worthwhile. The staff were very nice too.

Aging but classic hotel
The wifi never worked well in my remote room since it was mostly turned off. The carpets and furniture were worn, so not 5 star quality. At night in June, the rooftop bar had live music and limited/pricey food but with amazing views of the new cathedral, tower and castle. The breakfast was an extensive buffet with eggs, and all the staff was very nice. The best location in the historic center between the 3 main piazzas and a 15 minute walk to the train station. Would stay here again!

Lovely hotel right in the centre of things. What the hotel lacked was a place to relax and have a drink in the afternoon. Bar on the upper terrace didn’t open till 6:00 PM.

This was an incredibly beautiful art deco 1930s hotel right in the historic centre of Brescia. The whole hotel is like stepping into the past - in a good way. Our superior twin room had somewhat basic facilities, but was full of historical details (original 1930s light fittings, furniture). We had a balcony with a view of the cathedral and towers. Staff were very helpful and professional. The terrace bar is rarely open, but is beautiful when it is. If you can see the event rooms, try to do so - again, amazingly beautiful, grand art deco. All in all, a great experience in a beautiful city.

My room was clean and comfortable. However it was on the 3rd floor near the open terrace, and a large party of unsupervised teenagers spent the evening from about 9 pm onwards hanging around talking and shouting in the corridor directly outside my room and running up and down it. My first 3 phone calls to reception asking for something to be done were fruitless, and only my final call - after midnight and reinforced by similar complaints from other guests - succeeded in dispersing them. So don't stay on the 3rd floor if you want a quiet night.

The hotel was very grand-the room more like a suite. The location was good- right in the middle of shopping and restaurants, however, at this particular time there was construction noise and some access blocked off.

5 star!!!!! I’ll be back!
My stay at Hotel Vittoria was perfect. Very, very centrally located, responsive and gracious helpful staff, daily cleaning and linen changes (rare in today’s world), exceptional breakfast offerings and rooftop bar for evening food and cocktails. Did I mention the location? No need for car or taxis except to and from train station. Absolutely recommend Hotel Vittoria and I will stay again when I return to lovely Brescia.

This hotel has seen better days. it is very outdated, shabby and somewhat dirty. I met a giant cockroach in the hallway. The floor in one of our rooms was not washed for at least 30 years, but the other room was ok. The airconditioner was so loud it was impossible to sleep. Fortunatelly, the night was reasonably cool and we could open the window. Also we had to climb a flight of stairs with our luggage because there was no direct elevator access. This was not a problem for us, but might be for the others. 4th floor smelled, 2nd floor was ok (we had two rooms). When we checked in the person at the front desk was very strange and unfriendly (and didn't speak English, but this is ok). He wanted to get the key from my car and the exact location of the car in the garage on top of getting parking ticket for validation. I didn't want to give him the key, but he insisted. I gave it, but then felt unsafe, came back and got it back. I found that they don't need the key, just the ticket: I got the car from the garage myself. I don't know what he wanted to do with my car. The person at the front desk next day at the checkout was friendly, spoke English, and explained how to get the car out of the garage.

I stayed at Hotel Vittoria for 1 night using a single bedroom. Overall, I am not happy since there are many details are overlooked and this is not acceptable in a luxury hotel: cracks in the wall, dust in the chandelier, limescale in the shower, creaking bed. The personnel is nice and happy to help in case of need. In any case, this is certainly not a 5 stars hotel - perhaps it was a luxury hotel 20 years ago but now time is changed and it really need to be renewed.

Classic historic hotel experience
The service was good: service people were friendly. The historic building has a lovely art deco interior. The breakfast was good, particularly the jam-filled croissants. The hotel would make a good set for a Humphrey Bogart film!

Great location but hardware needs real improvement
Renovation would help. The location is walkable to most major attractions which is good. But the condition of the hotel is rather old and renovation would help. Squeaky closet, difficult to open doors etc. The staff is helpful but the hardware needs a lot of improvement

At check in, we were given a room that was did not resemble what we booked. We booked a larger room that should have had city views. The first room did not match the text description nor photos, so we returned to the desk to ask for the room we had booked... The woman at the front desk first insisted that the room was what we had booked. Then, when I showed her my hotels.com booking, she then returned with her manager. They conversed in Italian, and then the manager told me that another manager had set up the hotels.com descriptions and they were incorrect and that I should complain to hotels.com! I emphasized that I booked a larger room, paying more, and that it was supposed to have city views. The rooms exist in the hotel, they can be seen on the hotel's own website. In the end, they gave us a larger room, in better condition, facing the city, but on a lower floor with no views. That room was fine, other than being a bit dusty and worn, and not the room that I had booked.

Second time staying at Hotel Vittoria and just as the first time we were not disappointed. The hotel is a gem in the center of Brescia and would highly recommend. Cannot wait until our next visit.

The hotel had lovely décor and a nice luxurious Art Deco style feel. The room however was very disappointing - whilst it was clean and well equipped, it was on the side of a hotel facing what looked like a new extension built to house parties and functions. The roof of this completely covered the lower half of the bedroom window and our "view" was the roof itself. The functions held in the room below were also noisy and had loud music playing late into the evening. A disappointing end to our vacation in Italy given the 5* rating of the hotel

First of all it was shown as a 5 star hotel. It definitely isnt. The rooms are with old furniture, pillows very unconfortable We had two rooms. In one of them there was no safety box,just the hole for it.Toilet paper holder in one bathroom was broken.In one of the rooms I found shorts in the closet which someone has left before.Not really checking after checking out The concierge didn t help with the luggage. Breakfast was good.
