The Good
The inside of the property is clean & well maintained. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable enough, & the sofa was comfortable. The view was absolutely gorgeous and the wood burning fireplace was perfect. The location is good. When there's no snow, you could probably easily walk most places in town.
The Not So Good
The living room and kitchen are cold!. They didn't heat up past 59 degrees unless a fire was going. There's a draft coming from the French doors and it made for chilly mornings. But, once a fire was going, the place was toasty. And the master bedroom stayed nice and warm the whole trip (and there were 2 huge comforters to ensure we stayed warm.)
The biggest issue we had was the driveway into the condo. It's up a small hill, was only plowed once a day when we were there and isn't salted. We got in at 3ish in the afternoon, & had to chain up to get in the parking lot, & even with chains on, it took multiple attempts. We also saw multiple people with big trucks and SUVs have issues getting in later in the evening. They need to plow it multiple times (and do a better job at it) and salt it. I've lived in the snow before and am familiar with driving in it and how it should be when plowed, & this was kind of a half done job when we saw them do it. We had planned on going to dinner one night, & decided against it because we weren't sure we would be able to get back in.
Other Things to Note:
The pizza place does not deliver in the snow. We planned on getting a pizza the night we decided not to take the car out & they don't deliver, so just keep that in mind.
Both grocery stores are really more a convenience store. You can get boxed & canned stuff, but there's no fresh fruits, veggies or meats and the selection is super limited. Definitely buy what you need in Cedar City before coming into town.
There's a free shuttle that runs in the winter. It was super convenient during the day, but only runs 9-5, and the few restaurants they had opened at 4-5ish.
If you're coming into the property and using navigation, it takes you into the wrong parking lot. You don't want the 1st entrance, you want the 2nd. The spa and laundry are at the first entrance though, so during the winter, you can't really walk there, you'd have to drive. We didn't use either but just something to note.
Lastly, the TV is not a smart TV. Bring a firestick or something similar if you want to stream Netflix or TV shows.
