“Good boutique hotel”

We got a good sized double room - not a great view, but the cleanliness, facilities and decor of the room made up for that. Good sized bathroom, nice polished wood floors, comfy bed, good tv/dvd/satellite, selection of dvds to use (although mainly in Dutch, as it's a dutch run hotel), free wi-fi. Breakfast was good (not a huge choice, but decent enough), reception staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend this. Also good bar next door, and a cafe (Kartell) two doors down.

“Excellent small hotel in ideal location”

This is an excellent small hotel with personable and extremely helpful reception staff. Our room was enormous by the standards of most central city hotels and interestingly decorated. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate, although there are few tables in the mezzanine breakfast area and people would have to use the reception area below if too many people turned-up concurrently. But what makes this hotel special, in addition to its staff, is its location in the pedestrianised Lipscani/Old Town district, with many cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. I was also able to walk to the Parliament building in a leisurely 20 minutes.

All hotels ought to be like this one; elegant, tactful, perfectly located, supremely comfortable, unfussy, generous. It's in the only part of central Bucharest you'd really want to sleep in, and is in all respects perfect.

“Front Desk Staff are the BEST”

The FRIENDLIEST people I have ever met. The front desk reception was so helpful and friendly. She even yelled at a taxi driver for us when he ripped us off. (Don't pay more than 50 lei to/from airport). To avoid being ripped off, have hotel arrange taxi transfers for you. Breakfast was great, as was room, and everything else. A FANTASTIC restaurant around the corner, whith beautiful traditional archeticture, traditional food, traditional music and dancing, and good beer and good prices.
