Nice...

Posted Feb 4, 2015
What a great place to stay.Initially it was pretty hard to find the place and the lifts were pretty comical (v.small cupboard like) but an astonishingly cheap hotel (well it's more so a Hostel to be fair) turned out to be very comfortable with beautiful showers. The staff are very friendly and we was greeted with a bottle of wine on our arrival. It's also a few minutes away from the New york palace which was on our 'to do' list of places to visit.

Cheap and convenient location

Posted Jan 13, 2015
You get what you pay for! We stayed for three nights at a discounted rate of 14 euro/ night So for what we paid it was great! The hotel is old and facilities need so love but for a warm bed n conviebt location it was great! Must pay cash and do so 24 hrs before departure, only one reception lady was rude, the others amazing and super friendly!

Albergo grazioso in pieno centro

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Comodissimo, caldo, accogliente.

Great on a budget and authentic

Posted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: Location Staff Price Authenticity Security
Cons: Menu in the fridge :) The Twix bar was 3 months out of date :)
Location: It's right on the red line (2) and is close to Deák Ferenc tér which is handy for getting to other locations. Everywhere is close by!
I stayed in the double room which over looked Blaha Lujza, which if you know Budapest is very central. The room was warm, clean and they had left a bottle of wine for us as a gift. The rooms are on the top floor but there is a lift (a really old lift but it's cool!) The rooms were quiet and staff were helpful. I had lived in Budapest previously nearby and knew it was a great location. If you're looking for an authentic room on a budget then I'd stay here. It really reminded me on my old apartment
