We stayed here for 3 nights just before the season started, and it was lovely and quiet. The staff are extremely helpful and the lake rooms are beautiful. We had housekeeping come in and clean every day we were there, which we weren't expecting. The breakfast buffet is perfect. The only things we didnt like is that you have a limit of 2 very small coffee's per person at breakfast, and the mini-bar has very limited tea/coffee, no milk and it doesn't get replenished during your stay. Also, outside the rooms there are extremely loud pest alarms going off every 15 seconds. This spoilt the peaceful atmosphere quite a bit and was very annoying. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Liked that breakfast was included but it you weren’t there early hot breakfast was gone.

Property was excellent, great location and all the staff were extremely pleasant. Parking nearby is very tricky so be aware ahead of time.

Room with a view was really great! Breakfast was good. Dinner was ok, was expecting better quality, but the price wasn't outrageous for what we've got. Would come back if only just for the room with the view. ;)

Overall the property was good value and the staff were amazingly helpful. However, one major caveat of this property is that it is not easily accessible by foot as the only local road to get here is an incredibly rocky and steep path which is impossible with any kind of luggage. In order to get to the centre of Menaggio, this is the only safe road down without a car. It is a good 10 minute walk up and down without luggage for those who are mobile. If you are not driving to the property, consider staying at the waterfront area. Otherwise, it's a quiet and lovely part of Menaggio.
