We loved having Christine at the charming Periwinkle Cottage!! She was a great guest and left the cottage in wonderful condition which we really appreciated. We so enjoyed having Deborah at the Periwinkle Cottage. She left the cottage in great shape and I would recommend her as a guest! So pleasant to deal with! Hope she can return someday.

We are so sorry with the problems that Jane encountered. We wish Jane had contacted us or the cleaning lady during her stay and we would have remedied anything that we could have at that time. Unfortunately no one heard from Jane so we could solve these issues. We checked the freezer but could not find a problem with the freezer. We have never provided pantry items like seasonings but if a traveler leaves them we always leave them for the next person to use. We are so sorry Jane expected a different kind of grill but we have always had a charcoal grill and in the details of the listing it does tell you that the grill is a charcoal grill and you can purchase charcoal and lighter fluid at the local grocery. Unfortunately the toilet seat lid (lid only not the seat part) did break right before her stay but the nearest place to get a toilet seat is an hour and a half away and we didn't have time to get one before Jane arrived the next day but had it by the time Jane checked out. The broken lid did not hinder the use of the toilet as the seat was not the broken part but we are still sorry Jane encountered this problem. We do provide several outdoor lounge chairs which are more like adirondack chairs which may be considered beach chairs by some. In the written description of the chairs we do list them as adirondack chairs. At the Periwinkle Cottage you are up on a cliff overlooking the ocean so you can't actually get down to the beach from the cottage.

We were so inspired by David and his newlywed who came too Campobello for a mini vacation. We hope they get to return soon! They were great guests!
