Ricardo was very welcomng and grqciously accommodated my early arrival. The room is a fully modern one in an ancient building with stone steps and classic acrchitectural touches still in place. And steps from Piazza San Lorenzo, the harbour, and several Metro stops. Cafes, art shops, narrow local lanes all within steps. Ideal location. Walkable from the cruise port and two main strain stations.

Unfortunately as an older property it had a stale aroma to the rooms and my daughter in Room 303 complained of a smell of stagnant drains or poor sewage drainage

We arrived at the property. We had to carry out luggage up the stairs. I think they should have a bellman closer to the door. I had him take our luggage upstairs after we checked in. We reserved and paid for ocean view room. We were told this was a renovated room. To be honest i did not feel this was a renovated room. The shower had no water pressure. Maybe they did a quick renovation. Re caulk and re grout. The bathtub faucets and shower were older. The sink basin was not new.

"My husband and I really liked how it was so close to the beach. We enjoyed a day there and it was lovely! We liked the rooftop terrace where we sat in the sun and had drinks. We did the spa and that was so lovely!"
