“Excelent location!!! Excelent hotel!”
Huge room, huge bed, excelent shower! The Hilton is located just in front of Cardiff Castle and very close to shoppings and restaurants! Breakfast was good but no fresh fruit, no fresh juice, they only offer juice from the box and fruits from the cane which is not healthy at all!! But definately I would stay here again.
“Condition of the hotel is not up to Hilton standards”
Everything about the Cardiff Hilton is up to expected Hilton standards, meaning, the staff is friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and amenities were were of good quality, the location is perfect and the exterior of the hotel is attractive and unique. However, the interior has NOT been maintained to an acceptable quality. Not only was the decor of our room TIRED and depressing, there was actually a hole (4" x 5" x 3" deep) and an indentation extending from the hole (2" wide tapering to 1/2") for 1 1/2 feet located in the middle of the main traffic area UNDER the thin and worn carpeting . It was impossible to avoid stepping on the flaw without being constantly aware of it. This hotel has VERY GOOD BONES and deserves a major updating. The bathroom was enormous and immaculate with one of those wonderful British deep and long soaking bathtubs but made poor use of the extra space with a single pedestal sink and minimal space for guest toiletries. It makes no sense for Hilton to own this fabulous property in this visitor rich city without making the most of it, not only for the profitability of the Cardiff hotel itself, but also because the experience in this hotel will determine the customer's choice of hotel in other locations for years to come.

I enjoyed all the facilities, service, and especially the room immensely. Originally we booked for 4 nights via the internet. Once there, we had to stay on in Cardiff for another 3 nights and wanted to continue on, but the only room available was the executive suite. Unfortunately, I had to move to another, more economical hotel, but the next time I will definitely look for Hilton again. It was perfect. Thank you.
