This was an amazing retreat for the weekend. Hospitality was off the charts and the breakfast was thoughtful and delicious. The property is breathtaking and close to everything we needed. We are basketball fans and the theatre room was an unexpected surprise that saw plenty of use for NCAA conference tournament games😁

Beautiful bed N breakfast! Wonderful staff, so friendly! Great theater, pool table, beautiful views! Also great signage to find it!
So glad we chose to do the bed and breakfast!
Shaun and Amy were delightful - very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area - great recommendations for dinner and wineries! Beautiful views, delicious breakfasts, and super-friendly pets :) I will definitely stay there again!

Thank you Pete, Amy and enjoyed your stay. We are looking forward to your next visit!
Sean and Amy were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful, and made excellent breakfasts. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The house is a bit off the beaten track, about a mile off the paved road, and I wasn't aware before arrival that we'd be sharing a bathroom.

The surrounding area was not maintained, dirt road, rundown old houses near by, pictures of outside of property misleading.

The Gaard House is a rural B&B located on 45-acres of farmland. Our B&B is accessed from Oak Springs Farm Road, a gravel road maintained by Yamhill County. The driveway to our B&B is also a well maintained gravel road. The grounds of the Gaard House are well maintained, the view from the deck is well liked by our guests (as stated in other reviews).
We had a lovely stay, felt welcome, and were surprised by the additional amenities not mentioned as well as the delicious breakfast. Quick 10 minute drive into Carlton and plenty of wineries nearby to visit. We look forward to our next visit!

Lovely home and grounds and terrific breakfast. Hosts where very accommodating and personable and went out of there way to make us welcome and comfortable. However, it is not immediately obvious that there would be a shared bathroom at booking and the advertised queen sized bed seemed more like a double bed.

Allan, thank you for staying with us. We enjoyed your time with us. You can rest assured all of the beds in our B&B are queen sized.
The Gaard House is a hidden gem centrally located in the Willamette Valley. Gorgeous property with convenient access to Carlton, Newberg, Dundee, and McMinnville. The hosts were both incredibly kind and hospitable. The room was comfortable and had every amenity imaginable. The morning breakfast was quite generous and was much more elaborate than I've ever experienced at a B&B. Can't wait to come back and absolutely would recommend to friends and family.
