The pool was so nice to have each day when you want to cool down. Room was very big and comfortable with the ac and bed. The staff is very accommodating and amazing!

Beautiful property but the air condition In my room was leaking water so badly during the nights. That kept me up! I told the staff the first day they looked at it but never fixed the issue. Thank god o only spent two nights.

The property upon arrival is very beautiful. When you first enter it is very magical and has a welcoming feeling. Once we got to our room, the suite was very hot and there was a strong humidity smell. We noticed mold on the walls and our allergies were terrible inside the room. The hot water was intermittent so it was very uncomfortable showering with extremely cold water. The staff was very nice! The overall experience was ok. The area where it is located is very practical and accesible.

Mixed bag but I’d do it again.
Room features were great: private jacuzzi, tub for two, great location if you want to be in the walled city. Hot water was hit and miss. Nice large room but we had to intensely investigate how to turn on the room fan and lights. However we think we know who shot Kennedy. Staff was super helpful and polite. Had a storm which knocked out electrical and WiFi for a day and a half. Loved the small courtyard pool.

San Pedro Hotel is beautifully situated in the walled city near some delicious restaurants offering vegan options. Sadly the rooftop bar was not in service. The telephone in our room never functioned and being on the third floor it meant a lot of extra running up and down to get basic details like the WiFi code and hotel service information.

I loved the architecture and location of the property. The hotel is located close to great restaurants and historical sites. The staff was very accommodating and caring of me being a solo traveler. I’m staying here on my return trip!

Colombia vacation
I had an amazing stay at San Pedro. The people that work there are great. Cesar is really informative. Great tour guide also. Highly recommend. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Loved the private jacuzzi! Also many stores, shops and restaurants around the hotel. It is a safe place to walk around and explore. There is a super market really close by which is very handy. There is an ATM there as well. You won’t be disappointed in your stay at this place.

Absolutely IN LOVE. I have so many good things to say, I think it would take forever. The staff was amazing first and foremost and the hotel was small and beautiful. There is a nice spa tucked away in the basement and the services are very affordable and well done. The location was very good. There is a grocery store that we frequented a lot right around the corner to get cash from the ATM (which we ended up needing more than usual on an international trip, but the fee ended up being like $2 USD so no problem). We felt safe in every way (for those who are concerned), even when there was "conflict" or COVID restrictions. We can't wait to come back and see Cartagena in all it's glory as it was magnificent even in these circumstances. Only comment for improvement would be to add more lighting in the rooms.

Great hotel with excellent service staff!
This boutique hotel is quite beautiful and the service the staff provide is amazing. The rooms are large and spacious with nice amenities. They have a smaller pool near the lobby which is nice for cooling off. There is also a jacuzzi on the upper terrace level but the noise level of the surrounding streets can make it less inviting. Overall, I recommend this hotel based on the quality of the rooms, the awesome service, and the overall location.

Beautiful oasis
An amazing oasis in the old city. The house has been beautifully restored with 8 outstanding rooms and a fabulous spa. Breakfast was included in the deal I bought. They don't serve dinner but have wonderful recommendations to share. Whilst I travelled alone this is the perfect place for romance!

Best service we've gotten in a long time. The place is very relaxing and spotless. Service was very god. Breakfast was the best. They welcome you with the most delicious mint lemonade, and our package included a massage each. Overall highly recommended. This is not a hotel to mingle and meet people. this is more of a relax and disconnect kind of place.

The hotel staff is excellent! They even surprised my husband with a cake for his birthday! The rooms were nice and clean, for sure we reccomend the hotel!

Very very lovely hotel, and all the staff equally as lovely. Tons of colonial character, charm and romance. I liked that they served breakfast any time you want, as we are not early risers and often miss hotel breakfasts. The bed was extremely comfortable, with quality linens. My husband was sick (due to food elsewhere) and they offered to bring a doctor at no expense. Incredibly sweet. Ask about your free massage as it was only mentioned when we asked. The masseuse was a delightful person, and a good opportunity for my daughter and I to practice our so-so Spanish. I might suggest that the hotel invest in installing soundproof wndows in the rooms on the street side. Lots of traffic and honking in the morning. Nevertheless I'd happily stay here again.

What a find this hotel is. Luxury and style and superb hospitality at a good price. This small boutique hotel looks beautiful and the service was wonderful. Spacious room, great breakfast, and our surprise hand and foot massages were a treat. Would strongly recommend.

Great Boutique Hotel
Friendly staff (Marjorie was amazeballs!) great service. The complimentary foot/hand massage was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is attractively updated with some modern touches while maintaining the colonial charm of the original structure. The breakfast was top notch with a great assortment of fresh fruit, fresh juice, and local foods (arepas and cheese). We stayed for 5 nights and could have easily stayed longer. The location was great as well. It is located on one edge of the old walled city center which provides easy access to the rest of the city if you are so inclined, but the old city center is so small, the longest walk to the other end is only 15 minutes. Our stay was the first week of June and it seemed to us that there were very few tourists. Personally, I liked the quiet of the city - restaurants were never full, there were no lines for museums and all the local stores were easily accessible. It was hot however (90 degrees and higher fahrenheit) and it was very humid. I didn't really mind since we had lots of time by the pool and the beach, but some people might find it overbearing. The old city has some truly great restaurants. There are many fancy somewhat pricey restaurants and also there are plenty of cheaper places as well. We ate at a different place each night and always had a quality meal. Our favorites were La Comunion and Brujas de Cartegena.

I was really surprised to find a fountain instead of a swimming pool. Though I reserved a superior room, it was dark, no exterior window, no lights for reading. Internet was really slow and always turning off.

Great customer service! Large rooms and good breakfast to order. Very nice rooftop with view of the fortress. There is no elevator but it did not matter. Excellent English speaking staff.

The staff at Hotel San Pedro were outstanding! From the greeting and orientation that we received upon arrival, all the way through final checkout, they were world-class. The property is immaculate for being two hundred years old and the ambiance that it provides is very charming. If you go to Cartagena and don't stay here, you're truly missing out!

Lovely and friendly staff. The hotel is frankly a bit stiff and the room, through large, was stuffy with uncomfortable furniture and the bathroom had little in way of positives.

Beautiful, tasteful and very memorable.
This place is a very beautiful and tastefully renovated colonial house with outstanding customer service. Cielo, Marjory and the whole crew made us feel very welcome and made every moment of interaction memorable. The hotel is located in the beautiful old city of Cartagena, and you can walk through the historical colonial streets to some of the best restaurants of Cartagena. I will come back to this hotel anytime I come back to the city.

Where you want to be!
The staff makes this place. They could not be more considerate and thoughtful. We mentioned it was our anniversary; Marge made a dinner reservation in the most romantic restaurant, with a dessert surprise. When we returned we found our room totally dusted with rose petals and an ice bucket with champagne and glasses waiting. The 300 year old, restored structure has a charming pool courtyard complete with all the period decor and many old dripping candles. Unfortunately there is no elevator and three floors.

Professional and elegant setting
We found the San Pedro hotel to have an extremely well trained and professional staff, especially Marjory at reception. Our (double deluxe) room was spacious and equipped with extremely high quality linens and our included breakfast was made to order each morning and included a wide variety of fresh choices. Finally, throughout our stay the staff and owner were extremely attentive and provided warm hospitality throughout the day. On the downside the tub/shower could use freshening. Overall a great experience.

Best hotel I've been to!!
This was one of the nicest hotel experiences I ever had. A welcome drink, welcome massage, room cleanup during the day, ultra friendly staff, English speaking available, made to order breakfast. Most of the guests were from Brazil and Colombia but I would highly recommend to Americans. Had a nice family feel and they paid attention to all the details.

Superior Attention to Details
From the moment you walk in, you are greeted like you won the lottery. Service is extraordinary. The rooms are immaculate and I slept like a dead man. The air conditioning seems to be the best in Cartagena. If you leave a glass of fruit juice out, you might have a popsicle in about an hour. Great continental breakfast with fresh fruits, pastries, and of course Colombian coffee.

Würde ich nicht mehr buchen
Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt ist gut. Alles sehr düster und die Zimmer sind ziemlich dunkel. Der Pool ist winzig. Die Roof Top Bar ist geschlossen. Frühstück ist sehr spärlich.

Bom custo beneficio
Hotel muito bonito dentro da cidade amuralhada. Perto das principais atrações. O hotel nao dispõe de elevador portanto o acesso a todos os quartos e pela escada. Tem um recepcionista que te ajuda com as malas, mas se forem muitas prepare.se. O unico ponto a desejar foi nao ter agua quente nós banheiros.
