Our first time to Ireland, the Farmhouse was a great part of our drive along the coast. Quaint, nice people, quick walk to the bars/pubs.

Lovely property. Big room, comfy bed. Recently remodeled bathroom with nice hot water pressure. Awesome breakfast. Easy parking. Ate dinner just down the road at the Anvil Bar. Convenient to the farmhouse and tasty.

Our two-night stay at Murphy's Farmhouse was the favorite lodging of the trip. Beautifully kept home with lovely front garden. Nice breakfast selection and very service-oriented team. A 5-minute walk to two separate dining options, although be advised that only one appears to be open for lunch (the Anvil). Castlemaine village is a 10-minute drive if you want more options. Murphy's Farmhouse is a perfect location for exploring Dingle peninsula! My only suggestion would be that some outdoor seating would be nice so that guests can enjoy the flower garden and local scenery. Highly recommend!

Quiet and lovely B&B.
This place is as quaint and lovely as the pictures show; we really enjoyed our stay here. Were able to get two rooms for our family, and really enjoyed the amazing home cooked breakfast every morning. For our evening meals, there was a pub just a stroll away. This was part of a larger trip, but this may have been our favorite place to stay in the whole trip.

We loved this place about a five minute walk from a couple of places to eat. It felt very much in the country with cows in the pasture in front of the house. Totally charming.

Friendly and Homely
I have stayed at Murphys Farm House a couple of years ago and I found it much improved. It is good value and the breakfast had a good range of choice along with the Full Irish. It is well situated for touring the various peninsulas like The Dingle and Kerry Ring and with a Pub Resturant doing good food down at the bottom of the road. The Wifi was also good.

Farm house was like stepping back in time, clean, very well maintained. Absolutely lovely experience. Mary greeted us upon arrival. Later she placed fresh flower arrangements in common areas. Her daughter in law whom we met at breakfast was friendly and provided great service

OK but no host interaction
We just got home from 5 weeks in Ireland, England and Scotland. Stayed at several B&Bs on our trip and had such a wonderful time meeting our hosts at every place except this one. For us, the personal interactions and laughs absolutely made our stays perfect. However, when we checked in here, we were shown to our room, handed a key and that was it - all within about 30 seconds. By the end of breakfast the next morning, still no one had made an appearance. I actually had to find someone in the kitchen to take our payment before we left in the morning. The room was very clean and comfortable, but we really missed the personal experience.

Thanks for staying with us, i cant figure this out, so you had your breakfast etc, who served it to you? Did yu get the tea/coffee yourself and the hot breakfast which has to come from the kitchen.. A lot of our guests meet us in the kitchen, they are more than welcome

The Murphy’s guesthouse was superb! The house sits on a beautiful property and it pretty in itself. The room was so clean and the beds were comfortable. A gem of a stay!

Fantastic hospitality! Had a horrible mix up with a broken down car but Mrs Murphy was understanding accommodating our changing arrival times. Beautifully decorated rooms with modern bathroom, comfortable beds. Fantastic Irish breakfast to get us going the next day. Highly recommended!

Cozy and comfortable stay
I stayed two nights while I was traveling on my own, and I felt very at home at the farmhouse. My room had a view of the front pastures, and comfy furnishings. I wished I had a tub to soak in, but that’s not the farm’s fault. The Murphy’s are an excellent family — definitely pop into Murphy’s Bar to warm up by their fireplace, or cool down with a cold drink. Their staff really made my trip memorable due to their personalities and enthusiasm for other local spots to recommend. I had some unbelievably wonderful conversations staying here, and I look forward to coming back to visit again one day!

Lovely B&B in a rural area. Very good breakfast. Owners were great even taking my husband (ex farmboy) around the farm and talk about their operation. Just be aware all B&B rooms in Ireland are very small and usually up a steep flight of stairs.

What a lovely place to stay
This B & B was lovely. The old buildings, with their quirky uneven upstairs corridor, were tastefully re-juvenated and presented extremely well. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pub just down the road was a great place for dinner and a few drinks. Our host, Mary, was so helpful and friendly AND professional. It was a pleasure to spent time here! Highly recommended

Nice B&B close to the Dingle Peninsula
We really enjoyed our stay, it's a short walk to 2 pubs, but we only went to Murphy's, as the Anvil closed early. Breakfast was wonderful (full Irish) and promptly served. Couldn't have been much better.

Murphy's Farmhouse
I'd recommend it. Murphy's is very well-kept, clean, and made an excellent breakfast. We'd heard that a farmhouse stay in Ireland was more personal than staying at a hotel, but all the hotels and B&B we'd stayed in were excellent, so I can't say Murphy's was better in that sense. It was a bit removed from town with really no extra benefits but overall, we've no complaints!
