“Fantastic family time in Catania”

the b&b owners were very helpful with communication before our arrival - suggesting bus travel from Palermo and giving directions on how to walk from bus to the accommodation. They were very welcoming and helped with our luggage up the stairs to our always clean room. Our room was comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children and we had use of a share kitchen for dinners. Breakfast was very delicious, including some pannetone for the festive season! The daily fish market and Vegetable markets were fantastic and inexpensive. Other local knowledge of the owners was useful, including local bus for our day-trip to Mt Etna, and also to the airport.

“Great base for exploring Catania”

The location is close to the local buses which we used for Mt Etna and the airport. The B&B hosts advised places to visit in Catania that suited our family. The accommodation was very comfortable for us, with 2 children, and the kitchen was great for preparing dinners. The breakfast provided by our hosts was tasty - we tasted Italian Christmas treats! Everything worked well in the bathroom and the room was warm enough during our stay in winter. In future holidays when we return to Catania we will definitely stay at XX Miglia, and would recommend XX Miglia.

“Lovely place, lovely people”

I stayed here twice - for 3 nights each time. The second time I stayed in the newly restored rooms.. My room was huge and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable. Although it is on a busy corner the windows and shutters were very effective. It is about 5 minutes walk from the central station. The people who run XXMiglia are so kind and caring - I appreciated that so much. Please stay here and experience it for yourself. I will definitely go back next time I visit Sicily.

“Good Value, helpful staff”

It's a bit of a chore to get into the place as there were 5 keyed locks to be opened before I could get to my room which was on the top floor - and no lift. But the staff was very friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. They helped me in finding the nearby airport bus stop and in letting me know that the bus starts running at 5 AM. This saved me the expense of hiring a taxi as I had an early flight. Miglia B & B is in a good location as well. I would stay there again.
