Great Place
When you travel as much as I do it's nice to stay in a place that has the amenities of a hotel, the upgrades of a new build, and touch of a home. This place has all of that and more. I will be staying again.

Great stay for quick wedding weekend
Home is beautiful and modern, well equipped. Train was a nonissue for us (including our child that naps 2x a day). First time in Cedar Rapids for a wedding, neighborhood is just ok. Centrally located though! Loved the private backyard!

House on the Corner
Used this Cedar Rapids location as a home base. It was a perfect location to visit and explore within an hour (+/-) radius of the city. This home was well appointed, very comfortable and located in a nice quiet area. Garage parking was a bonus.

Perfect cottage
Cottage was very clean and beautiful! Loved having a garage to park in. Check in was easy. Train noise was not an issue- never heard it but I’m sure trains went by. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were fabulous! It was great to have a full bath upstairs and on the main level. Highly recommend! Thank you for offering a beautiful space to rent!

Empty nesters
Perfect spot to stay while we moved our youngest son to college. Suited our needs perfectly and was a great location for walking to college campus, restaurants and trails. Hope to be back soon!

Lovely home in great location.
Very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. With little kids it was nice to have a laundry room. Appreciated the heads up about close proximity with the train tracks, but it was a plus for us with the kids very excited about seeing them. It was a non issue for sleeping. Loved having a garage.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. This was a great place to stay for two adults and two teens. Very clean and a nice walk to some good restaurants.

Clean, Well-Stocked and Practical
A group of my friends stayed here for a guys weekend for golf, breweries, and a Kernals game. It was great. We hung out in the garage one night (it was raining), front porch the other night. Sacred Cow around the corner was super fun and delish, we went there a few times either before going somewhere else or after coming back to the neighborhood. Cool location and really nice place, and the owner was incredibly nice and easy to work with. Recommend!

Groomsmen Getting Ready Space
Booked this cottage for the groom and groomsmen in my wedding to get ready. The space was perfect. The modern feel was exactly what we were looking for and fit our vibe for our wedding perfectly. Check-in was super easy. We loved having access to a garage to park a vehicle in. The host was super attentive and communicated excellently. I cannot recommend this space enough. Will definitely be back!

Great property! My daughters and I stayed at The Cottage while we were in Cedar Rapids for a concert. Great, quiet location. Train noise was present but not distractingly so. All amenities were as described and the beds were among some of the best we’ve ever seen! Already planning a return trip for my anniversary.

Great for a small family
We stayed here to celebrate a family wedding and it was just the right size for our group of 4 adults and 1 toddler. Nice and bright space. Our son loved the trains that go by. Parking was convenient.

Too wonderful to leave...
My friend and I have been looking forward to our girls weekend since booking concert tickets and this property several months ago. Suffice to say, it was a wonderful weekend from start to finish in large part due to this properties outstanding amenities and ideal location. Communication, cleanliness, and comfort were all top notch and the location being just one block from The District makes this property a "10" in our book!! We're already planning our return.

Nice house.
We enjoyed our stay at this vrbo. The location was good for us, the house was decorated nicely, beds were comfortable, and although we ate out every meal, it seems to have all the necessary kitchen equipment for those that want to fix their own meals there. We were never bothered by any train noise, we heard it at a distance a few times, but no loud noise by the property.

A great place for work and play
The property was in excellent condition. It was immaculate, clean, excellent furniture, easy parking and access to good restaurants, and bike/running trails. It was quiet and peaceful. We were working the majority and we highly recommend if you are in Cedar Rapids on a work assignment.

Perfection
The location is great. It’s within walking distance from Newbo Market and we went to the downtown Farmer’s Market which was maybe six blocks. The front porch and backyard are wonderful for relaxing. We actually enjoyed the trains going by which was only a few times and they are just a few cars long. Never did they come duriing off hours. I hope to stay here next time we visit. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond.

Comfy Cozy Cottage
We loved the Burnett Cottage! Very comfortable beds, the perfect size for our family of 6. The two and half bathrooms were definitely a plus. Loved the Little Czech Village. Coffee shoes and yummy restaurants in walking distance. Enjoyed our coffee on the front porch in the morning and a glass of wine at night!

Nice place for a vacation or staycation.
Everything was clean and orderly. The beds were super comfortable and there were lots of pillows with various lofts for princess sleepers like me. I personally loved staying next to the train tracks because it felt very nostalgic. I would definitely stay at this property or the sister property again.

Perfect Getaway
My wife and I decided to take a weekend trip away with our dogs and actually chose Cedar Rapids because of this property. The fenced in yard was perfect for stress free dog play-time and the house was immaculate. We found lots of great places to eat at in the area and had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking.

This was just a quick stop on our way to another state and it was perfect. Very clean, well decorated and supplied. The garage and fenced in yard were a huge bonus. My husband and I agreed we could live there as is. LOVED IT!

Adult slumber party
We needed a night away from our kids and a friend's birthday was the perfect excuse to have a little adult slumber party and game night. The House was beautiful, we absolutely loved the way it was decorated. It's a smaller house but the way it's set up it feels so spacious! The host was really great about answering my questions and very fast to respond. If you're considering a stay here... Do it! My only regret is we didn't stay when it was warmer so we could make the short walk to visit NewBo :)

Perfect Cottage for our Bohemian Adventure
The Burnett Cottage was a perfect place to stay for our wine tasting event at the Bohemian. The cottage was bright, new, nicely decorated and very comfortable and accommodating. It was perfectly located - a short walk to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay there. And if I ever go back to Cedar Rapids I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful trip for those trying something outside of IL
We are from central IL and were looking for a quick getaway for our anniversary. We had never been to Cedar Rapids before, but found this place decided to take a chance. We absolutely loved the property and the location within Cedar Rapids. Will definitely check here first for all of our return trips to Cedar Rapids in the future!

The perfect space!
We rented both cottages for the weekend of our wedding. We used them as get ready suites and they did not disappoint. The owners are very responsive to messages and great to work with. The space is gorgeous and you can tell a lot of thought and heart was put into the design. Cannot recommend enough. We will forever cherish our memories there. My only regret is that we forgot to sign the guest book! Thank you for making our wedding weekend even more special!

Urban farmhouse and perfect location!
We had a great stay. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was enough room for everyone to have a bed. The train noise did not bother us because we closed the bedroom door at night. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The location is close to medical centers, a huge farmers market and fun restaurants! Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the security and location. We walked to Newbo for meals and the Art Museum downtown! I would suggest having a sheet of instructions on how to use a ROKU TV and passwords if provided by the TV.

A Great Spot for a CR Stay
I rented The Burnett Cottage for a weekend visit in Cedar Rapids, reconnecting with old friends. The place was fantastic from start to finish with a clean, modern feel and enough homey touches to give it a warm feeling (love the record player!). It was well stocked from dishware to towels and beyond and the appliances and furnishings were in great shape. The outdoor spaces - the front porch and shaded back yard pergola - were wonderful places to sit and chat with old friends. Yes, there are trains on the tracks right across the street but they are infrequent and short (most only had 8-10 cars). And if anyone you know in CR says it isn't in a great neighborhood, they haven't been in the area lately. New Bo is a block away with the charming shops, restaurants (Fong's Pizza - swoon!), bars, and the must-visit New Bo Market. If I was going to live in CR, this is where I'd want to be and if I come back, the Burnett Cottage is where I'll stay.
