The tub was there but completely unusable due to the rotten fiber board being unfinished and unsafe with no safety handles to get into the tub. No sound proofing or scent proofing in the room we were in. It smelled like a combination of weed, cigarettes, and bleach. There was also a large gap under our door. Didn’t feel safe.

I wasn’t expecting much, but assumed we could have a couple nights in a cheap hotel. It was awful. I checked in with an open mind. Got to the “non smoking” room that smelled horribly of smoke. Wet towels laying on the floor - the room hadn’t been cleaned. Hallways were littered with trash. Hallway carpet was brown with dirt and sticky. Smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. People loitering in parking lot. Loud music and TVs heard walking down the hall. We left and went to a different hotel.

Don’t stay here unless your a homeless In the pictures it looks better we came from Chicago to Iowa we pulled up to the room dirty asf then I go down to the front desk to ask if the could clean it or get my money back they said they couldn’t do nothing. Ended up leaving to American inn

Front desk staff was very friendly, the room was clean, but very dated. The hallways and parking area were dirty and trash cans were overflowing. Great TV and Wifi. The AC/ heating unit struggled to maintain a constant temp-- the room went from freezing cold to very hot.

Full of homeless people panhandling and raising hell all night. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and bathroom was dirty, toilet had pubic hairs on it and required me to clean it before using. The bathtub itself had the porcelain falling off to the point that I would not have ever used it to bathe or shower for fear of being cut by the sharp edged porcelain.

Arrived in Cedar Rapids on a late flight, and had a reservation. It was 30 degrees, snowing and blowing outside. When we arrived at the Cedar Rapids Motel 6 Airport location the desk clerk said he couldn’t check us in because his computer was down. They had plenty of rooms but wouldn’t give us one, even though I could show we had a reservation. How is this acceptable? I would think you better get a way to check in people who have reservations, when the “computer” is down, so this doesn’t continue to happen to someone else.

The staff was pleasant enough The condition of the property was very frustrating. Dirty, old, unsafe and unkept. I checked in and due to keys not working, room not equipped with microwave or refrigerator a hour later I was in a better room. I had bought Frozen dinners but the freezer needed defrosting, microwave dirty, fridge had shelves just laying in there, toilet dirty, bathtub atrocious. I was exhausted due to moving and disabilities, finally after recleaning the room with my own personal supplies a hour later I could sit on towel covered chair. Bed had clean sheets, dare not take shower, as soon as the sun came up I was out!!! Needs a complete overhaul, the hallways and stairs look like that had not been cleaned since the place opened.
