Best hotel experience I have ahd in years, friendly staff, no smell of smoke like other hotels have. Very comfortable beds. I will be returning to this hotel next time I am in the Chicago area

I had been around 15 times before my stay for business reasons. It had been about five years since my last visit. Previously the service was excellent and I loved it. The employees and all the staff were friendly and respectful, however my last stay everything had gotten worse. The service is only for an oriental company and the other guests are only if there is time. A coworker had an accident and no one offered any help to get her to the room. I do not recommend it. In two months I return to Chicago and I am already looking for alternatives. The transportation service is none. They don't take you to the airport, they don't look for you unless they have nothing with the eastern airline. That is said by the drivers themselves. The reception staff do not make you feel comfortable. What a shame that the service has gotten so bad because the training center that I am reporting to is just minutes away.

Overall, it was nice. It was awkward during check-in, though because staff members were bickering. Also, initially I was charged for my night even though it was already paid through Expedia. Thankfully, I saw this before I checked out and had the front desk staff member correct this.

This hotel is very quiet and clean. There is a Japanese supermarket walkable distance from the hotel, which is very convenient. Lots of good Japanese and Korean food nearby.

Amazing room!
Absolutely loved the room! Everything from the cleanliness to the bed to the tv! Beautiful tv. Water pressure in the shower & sink were amazing! I loved that that they listened to my request! I love staying here. Front desk staff was great. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Bed was comfortable. I LOVE the pillows. Finally a hotel that doesn’t have super “squishy” pillows. They had some firm pillows. Loved that. Desk chair that was not broken i loved that.

This is a good hotel. The staff was friendly enough to be "cordial". They did their jobs. The only gripe is the lack of a dedicated area for pets to relieve themselves. There is no pet station (i.e. poop bags, trash can), and we had to walk across the parking lot to an area next to the trash for our dog to do so and be close to the large trash bin--which was inconvenient. Also, we couldn't enter back through the door closest to our side of the building, when cb meant we had to go through the lobby, get in the car, drive to the back area, relieve the dog, throw the poop bag in the dumpster, drive back to the front, park, fo back through the lobby...you get the idea. And she had to go out at least 3 -4 times a day. No bueño...Other than that, the room was great, pool was warm, and it was overall a pleasant stay. Would recommend as long as you don't have a pet.

The property is outdated (popcorn ceiling, old brown wallpaper, heating and cooling system worn out, carpet beat up, bed hard to touch,) but it's clean. The staff was helpful and the cookies were okay it took two days to get one. The housekeeping lady was so nice and courteous, she did an excellent job maintaining my room. I did try to be as neat as possible. I would try a different hotel next time but this hotel isn't my last choice.

Check in went fine. Until a knock on the door at 10pm when I was sleeping asking me if I was smoking in the room. (I don’t smoke). As I said no, the guy then asked again am I sure?”. I said yes I was positive since i don’t even smoke. The next day i didn’t receive room service at all. I called down to the front desk and no answer twice. I go to the front desk to ask to speak to a manager and got told there is no one there and they will call me in the morning. Never received a call at all. The shower and toilet consistently made a noise throughout the entire night as well.

Toilet clogging galore
Toilet clogged 3 times despite using the least amount of toilet paper possible. The pillows were like bean bags and had no support... But the hotel was pretty clean and the service was prompt and cordial. I would stay here again despite the hiccups.

I liked the location. It was close to food easy to get on and off interstate. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Some issues i had was AC unit was very loud, there was a dog two rooms down that was barking, the shower drained very slowly. Overall it was a good stay.
