The front desk staff initial check in was quick. He was nice. But when I called the front desk late at night to asked how to close the window blind, a rude man claimed that he was the manager, he kept interrupting while I was trying to ask him a simple question on how to close the window blind in my room. Instead of listening, he said he’ll send an engineer to my room at 11:20pm to walk me through on how to close my blind. Instead just pointing me on where the digital buttons on the wall to control my blind, he rudely hung up on me. Terrible customer service. Never stay here again and don’t recommend it to anyone.

The property was nice. It was clean. Pool was closed. It was pretty basic. I couldn’t stand hearing nonstop, emergency vehicles outside. I could hear them even from the 24th floor As if it was directly outside of my window.

The property was great! One thing to keep in mind though is that this is technically part of Hilton's timeshare program and not the regular Hotel even though it is located within the Hilton DoubleTree. Because of that, I had MAJOR problems reaching someone who could help with issues and questions before the trip because I am not a timeshare owner.

It was our first time here and it won’t be the last! My husband’s birthday weekend was amazing! We had everything we needed on the premises so we never left the hotel! Our room was extremely modern and spacious. Property is inviting and clean, staff was also very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant and bar are great perks as well with excellent service! Let’s not forget the mini Starbucks on site!

Great location.
We had a great stay, staff was friendly we were in 26th floor and elevators were really fast. Our suite was great and comfortable. I didn’t use the restaurant/bar thought because there were other options nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location relative to downtown. Also a number of bus stops close by. About a ten minute walk from the red line subway. The staff were friendly and helpful. You apparently had to book turn down service, which was a little strange. But housekeeping did still knock on your door. The studio with king bed was great. Comfy bed and large tv. The only criticism I have is there was no complementary dressing gowns or slippers. Also, the air con in the room was insanely loud, but thankfully only had to use it once.

Spacious Room, Central Location
Came in for a concert at Wrigley. Fantastic room and accommodations and walking distance to a lot of great places. I love the spacious room with a table and couch allowing us and our friends a place to hang out.

Three light fixtures weren’t working: 1 bedside lamp, 1 table wall sconce, 1 recessed light. Staff had a superiority complex and considering the state of “the doubletree hotel” where this hilton grand vacations was located was was mind boggeling.

Our water would not get hot. It was luke warm during our visit and person they sent to fix did not change anything. Also, house keeping us on demand. We put in a request 24 hours in advance which is their policy but on the day was told they had nobody available “all booked” to clean our room. I had to go back and forth with management before they got someone to do it. Ironically when the housekeeper came by she was very friendly and told us she didn’t have too many rooms to clean despite being told by someone at the front desk they were all busy. Location and size of the room is great. Super convenient there is a grocery store next door to the hotel, I went a few times to pick up water and snacks.
