You get what you pay for.

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Convienence to destination.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Location is convenient to airport and concert stadium. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
The first thing you notice about this hotel is the pungent overwhelming smell of pine when you walk into the hotel room area. Makes you wonder what the smell is covering? The entryway and hallway carpets to our room were filthy. There were hallway fans running that were extremly loud and disruptive. The parking is minimal and cramped. The whole entire place needs an uplift with paint and more modern decor. Overall...you get what you pay for and maybe cheaper isnt necessarily the way to go. Lesson learned.

Shuttle service not offered as advertised.

Posted Sep 15, 2014
I was told I had a smoke free room, the room smelled like an old cigarette & had ash trays in my non-smoking room. The window didn't lock..... The hotel write up stated shuttle service to airport & local venues was available, when I asked about the shuttle to Allstate arena they laughed & said no, that will be too long in traffic.-I won't stay again!

Terrible

Posted Sep 8, 2014
This place was awful!! The whole place was gross and run down. Hotel staff didn't care and didn't even question why I was checking out 5 min after I checked in. Worst experience!

Close, convenient, but it's no Hilton

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Location, free wifi
Cons: Customer service,friendliness
Location: There is easy access to train stops, park and rides, and the highway.
The hotel is set up similarly to a motel, with access to your room outside. The room was clean, a little dated, but had working microwave and mini fridge. Water pressure in the shower was pretty bad. When I asked for extra towels or an extra pillow I got a lot of grief. They eventually gave it to me, but it was not in a friendly way. They have coffee and cereal out for you for their continental breakfast. They do have a free shuttle to\from the airport. Overall, it's quiet and clean and served its function for me. Definitely not the best, but no where near worst.

Don't go here

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: EVERYTHING--don't advertise as park n ride with free parking near the airport unless you mean it. Fix your rooms, change attitude, clean
Location: Near the airport--handy on that score, but there are others nearby that would be better
Hole in the wall with wires running through it behind TV--no plate or electrical box, just a hole. cigarette burns on counter top, light over bathroom has a short or something and just keeps flickering. We booked it for a park and ride as we were flying out the next day and it said you could park and fly but apparently fine print says free parking only for one night. Staff was rude and not at all helpful. We ended up parking at parking garage across the street (which was excellent and had great airport service), but in the end the cost of the room plus the garage would have been the same price at our usual park n ride hotel that is clean and neat and included free parking. I wouldn't sleep under the sheets that night because I was so freaked out by the lousy service and facilities that I was worried about bed bugs or critters. I will never, ever, ever stay here again

Ants

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Ants crawling all over our things. We tried to check out early but the only person there was in the breakfast area sitting around who offered no help. Returned later to find out he was the one working the counter.

Inexpensive Chicago hotel in good location

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: There's a lot to like. The hotel is conveniently located. It has free off-street parking. The room has a fridge and microwave. The rates are good.
Cons: Some furniture, like our floor lamp, was broken and needs to be fixed. Other than that, a remodel wouldn't be a bad idea.
Location: 5 minutes to the CTA station and on to the loop. That's all we wanted. For what it cost for a 3-day pass and some parking, we saved big money.
This is a basic hotel room for an inexpensive price. The facility shows its age with things like tube-TVs, old carpet burns, and the occassional broken fixture. But the TV works, the fridge and microwave work, and the A/C works. The beds were comfortable. The room was cleaned each day and we got fresh towels, plastic cups, and soap. I've stayed here three times over the years and my experience has been fine for the price. It's only 5 minutes away from the CTA park and ride so we can commute into the loop easily. If you're uptight and want your room to look like a magazine spread, don't stay here. If you can't stand to wait for the shuttle, don't use it. But if you want a clean, comfortable room for a good rate, you won't regret it. All the staff were helpful. At 3am, they were as tired as we were, but got us right in. When we needed anything, we got it right away.

In a pinch

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The front desk person was pleasant.
Cons: Raze it and start over.
Location: Close to O'Hare (about a 15-20 minute ride). Not much else to say.
We missed our connection in Chicago due to a departure delay from our origination point. Not wanting to spend the night sleeping in the airport, I searched nearby hotels on Expedia and found this one. Supposedly convenient and economical. I'm glad I had a pair of beach sandals in my bag, otherwise I would have felt the need to boil my feet if they had touched the carpet in that room. Also, signing up for the airport shuttle for a specific time does not guarantee you a seat, so take that into consideration as well.

hotel near the o'hare airport.

Pros: I really enjoyed all the plants, art and atmosphere of the hotel.
Cons: The Continental breakfast.
Location: The hotel is located next to a large well stocked gas station that also has a dunkin doughnuts. There are alot of restaurants near by.
From the outside of the building you would think that," oh man, I thought this would be much nicer!" I was pleasantly surprised. The office/common room was festive and the employees were friendly. There was a nice common room with free internet access and a computer you could use. They have a nice indoor patio eating area. There was a lot of plants and art that gave the place a comfortable feel. It reminded me of hotels in different countries. There was free snacks, coffee, tea, cereal and milk. They said they had a continental breakfast, but I think they were stretching it a bit. Our room was a suite and it was pretty clean though there were stains on the floor. It was a large room with a queen sized bed,jet bath, sofa and a nice glass table. The room also had a mini fridge and a microwave. It was a pleasant experience.
