The room was basic but tiddy qith good pillow selection. Shower was very nice and comfortable. Lighting made the room very dinghy, cleaners started as early as 7am and very noisey, a small movement from another guest like showers made it hard to hear the tv. Very difficult to access property due to road works which was not made apparent to customers. The whole aurrounds feels a but run down and somewhat dangerous feeling at night time.

The hotel does not look anything like it does on line. Very old photos used in advertising. The manager needs to learn some better people skills dealing with his customers. Our room didn't appear to be fully clean either. Other than that, our stay was very quiet and the parking once we found our way in via the road works was very good. Toilet paper and milk had to be asked for apart from what was there when we arrived.

The bed linen was not clean - clearly used, including multiple hairs. Bathroom had rotting woodwork. Looks like it was a good facility, but now very tired.

Clean comfortable but lacked some supplies... limited toilet paper, not enough towels,for our 4 day stay.. not enough cutlery, no cloths to wash dishes... which had to be done in bathroom sink!! I would stay again if these improvements were done

The location was convenient however the property owners need to spend some money to get the place back up to scratch. Lights not working, water leak in bathroom onto carpet and the curtain track fell off the wall when we first arrived.That was fixed immediately.I also changed the batteries in the TV remote.

Staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with. Bit run down in places with gap filler in some walls, but it was a cheap and convenient location, so it's a case of 'you can't have everything'. Balcony light shining through the curtains all night was really annoying, blackout curtains would fix it.

Old shower with low shower head. Some areas not cleaned. Two queen beds crammed into small area. Okay if you are out all day. Well off road but train will go through a couple of time right beside. Good location for mall.

Contactless check-in. No room service at all - no cleaning, no change of towels, no replacing coffee or milk. Contactless check-out. We were there for a wedding, in a place we didn't know, and no staff contact. Room was locked when we arrived, even though it was supposed to be contactless. Really difficult. Needed assistance with a number of things. Couldn't even ask about posting a letter. Hopeless.

At the time of your wedding we were contactless as it was for the safety of not only yourself but the hotel staff and all the other guests that were at the hotel which was not only the wedding guests, you have a note in your room re servicing the room while you were staying , we were servicing the rooms , all you needed to do was to contact the reception via the number listed between 8.30-12pm or the contact numbers on the reception door and you would have had all the requirements delivered to the room door,. as for posting a letter you are situated right in the middle of the shopping area that would have many post facilities. all the wedding group were travelling from various parts of the country so staying safe was the most important priority to all, the price charged for the group was at a special discounted rate and a very good price for the accommodation everyone had even though the bookings were changed so many times within the group booked , stressful for hotel staff . Comments from all the others were great so sorry to hear that you were not so happy andHopeless as you put it :-(
