"Great place for a quick stay while passing through the Fort Wayne area."

"This property was super nice and in an adorable area. Being able to have our pup was a plus, and we enjoyed walking her in the neighborhood. There are lots of conveniences nearby and it’s an easy drive to get on Highway 69. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Because I spaced an important detail, I made a last minute request of the host that she would’ve been totally fair to decline, and she was very accommodating. We had a wonderful stay!"

"Small house but everything was wonderful"

"The 4 parking spaces up top that belonged to the house were filled with cars from people renting the house next door. Had to park down the drive by the side door. Walking into the house there was an OVERWHELMING smell of gas & sulfer. Opened windows to air it out but the smell never went away. The set up of the house was really cute with a nice living space downstairs. It was hot upstairs in the bedrooms even with the air set to 66 so we slept downstairs on the couch. Hot tub was cloudy w/ bugs...

"My husband and I stayed here for a little getaway for a couple days. Property was very clean and owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Felt cozy but there was plenty of room to spread out for a family. Such cute decor. Kayaks and paddleboat available although we didn't use them as well as a firepit. Close drive to Shipshewana. Secluded and private, close to Amish country and lakes all around! Owner was very easy to reach if we had concerns, check in was a breeze. Great place...

"This historical house was truly a gem! We had a blast spending time here for our daughter's graduation from Indiana Tech. There is plenty of room for everyone, lots of extras throughout this well-kept property, and the owner, Wanda was extremely pleasant and easy to communicate with. The game room and extra kids play room were fun bonuses, as was the giant dining room for eating, gathering, and playing games with our large group. Including the Attic room, (which is huge and has lots of sleeping...

"The house was in good shape and well suited for a large group. We had 10 that slept comfortably. Property manager responded promptly. Some minor misinformation on the VBRO site (likely just out of date) such as an incorrect WiFi password and sending the door code the day prior to arrival, but these were minor things that were resolved promptly with no issue. Overall an enjoyable experience and a nice setting on the lake. Some nearby gunshots in the early morning hours both days could be heard......

"Upon arrival the house was smaller than expected but after we checked in it was perfect . Everything worked as it should and there were no issues the whole time we were there . The owner supplied free firewood for the late nights outside while the deck at the waterfront and large docking area for the boats was appreciated much as well . "Overall, we had a great experience staying here. The location is great, right next to Barbee Lake, also near Warsaw and Winona Lake. There is a very nice bar & grill restaurant right next door on the lake, and another restaurant in the hotel just down the road. The house was very easy to check into. There were no checkout instructions, which did make us wonder what was expected of us, so we just did our best to clean up after ourselves.
