Two bedroom home, (Bedroom1) has one queen & full bed (Bedroom 2) has queen bed, 1 bath All to yourself furniture, Utilities includes cable, internet with WiFi & household goods, Pots pans, dishes bedding. Also including bottled water, coffee, Tea, basic kitchen spices and needs, Has a full size front loader washer & dryer in the laundry room. Single car carport, Provided a small Weber grill.
located within walking distance of many Mascoutah shops & restaurants. 20 to 25 minutes from down town St Louis. Metro link is 7 miles away located at Scott Air force base, or SWIC. very close to the public pool and Scheve park.
Neighborhood is pretty quiet, very pleasant neighbors, I had lived in Mascoutah since 2010, Very nice town with many events fundraisers, 5k walks, all kinds of things going on through out the year, Nice big park for all to enjoy even your fur babies, nice little dog park available.
Ways around the area:
metro bus stop is two blocks away located on 6th st, or Uber services is available in the area, might have a little longer wait then in the big cities.

I really appreciate the work that was put into this place
If you see the photos you can tell exactly what you're going to get here. It's not a 5-star resort, but the owners have clearly poured a ton of time and effort into transforming this little old house in a functional, convenient place to stay that's just filled with character. I appreciated all the amenities, the wifi worked flawlessly, and the house was well-stocked with everything we might have needed. Thank you so much for letting us stay there!

Kitchen has most anything you need. Nice neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and post office. Easy 10 minute drive to Scott AFB. Owner very responsive.

Met Our Needs
We needed pet friendly accommodations and this was the closest to the people we were visiting. The outside appearance of the property shows years of neglect and the floors inside sag when walked on. The carpets were clean and didn't smell bad but I wouldn't want to walk barefoot on them because they were very old shag carpets and didn't look "inviting". The window seals outside were either dry rotted or had extensive termite damage and window screens were missing. The furnace was extremely loud and ran all the time when set at 70. Also making it hard to fall asleep were the lights on the smoke detectors flashing brightly every few minutes. The ceiling in the bedroom had lots of ugly stains and wasn't something you want to look at while falling asleep. Overall this property has seen its better years. There is a mechanic shop across the street that gets noisy during the day and someone was ripping up concrete all day long across the street which made our dog scared. I'm giving an overall 4 only because it is pet friendly and there needs to be more pet friendly VRBOs

Convenient location
My son stayed for a few days and said it was very nice and was conveniently located. He and his dog enjoyed having plenty of space and walking distance to dog park and city park. Host was very prompt with answering questions. Definitely recommend if you need a nice and affordable place to stay.

Nice play to stay for a night
We came to the St Louis area for one night, my husband, myself and another couple. We had a little issue finding the house with the link from VRBO but when we googled the address, we found it just fine. It was about 30min outside the city, which was perfect for our needs. The town is quiet and everything was pretty much as advertised. The dryer kept beeping and we ended up unplugging it until we left but I suspect that's because it was ended mid-cycle. The wifi worked well once we reset the router and although tiny, we had enough space for four people. Thanks for the quick communication, as we booked very last minute!

While this property has not much curb appeal, it's really cute inside. We had three teens with us - lots of space for everyone to relax and sleep and close enough to Mascoutah's main street so you could walk for coffee or dinner. The property manager is quick to respond and super friendly! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for 3 of us!
We were in town to do some presentations in the area and this was centrally located. It was perfect for us. The beds were great. Couches were great—we watched a lot of Ted lasso at night. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Cottage on the corner
Driving up to the property expected more yard. Inside was spacious enough. The heater was loud in one of the bedrooms. Each time it shut off it gave a loud thunk waking me up everytime. One bedroom too hot and the ceiling fan not balanced making a constant clicking noise keeping me awake. The other bedroom too cold....those making us run heater all night. The bed was comfortable. The living room and kitchen were nice.

We had a good visit. I would like to express that I did find a few things that would have been nice to have been fixed. The second bedroom did have uneven floors where one of the beds was set at a slant. The bathroom had the tub knob that would fall off. The living room was comfortable one of my family enjoyed sleeping on the couch and the recliner. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cooking equipment we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

Cute family home
There were some great things about this property as well as areas of improvement. Unfortunately all of the main light fixtures had one or more bulb burnt out, the grill was not usable due to a hornet’s nest inside of it, and the dryer kept beeping while it was running without a known cause. Communication with the owner was not ideal. I did not receive check in/out information and never got responses from my messages sent to the owner. I had to call VRBO’s customer support in order to get in touch with the owner to find out how to get inside the property. The house layout was interesting and perfect for our family of 5. It was great to have laundry services available in the house. It was a nice short drive to St. Louis.

We had a wonderful stay. The beds were so comfortable and warm. Fluffy pillows and the softest blankets. Great hot water in the shower. All the necessities were on hand. Highly recommend!
