“Hot tub area and sauna could use some updating, the pillows in the room were extremely uncomfortable. Everything else was good. ”

Like stepping back to the past where the customer service, quality of the linens and rooms and absolute attention to detail not only still exist but thrive at this place. The onsite restaurant was a 15 out of 10, and again service above and beyond so many places in this day and age. I am truly grateful and appreciative of the attention to the customers and details that are clearly their mission and it shows. They make you feel so welcome……

“This is a no-frills hotel. However we had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room. VERY spacious. Staff were friendly and at the front desk when we needed them to be there. A lady came to our door once to see if we needed fresh towels (we were there for 6 days). We will stay here on a return visit. Thanks Pier Blue staff”

“I loved the Greenporter, staff was amazing. A few things, perhaps a few prints on the walls, remove the old phone jacks they are very obvious. Also a power strip to plug in multiple devices. Otherwise, great, clean, spacious and very modern. ”

“This is my second stay at this motel. My room was cozy and the setup is good for one person or a couple. It was quiet and parking was easy. The staff was again friendly and the outside of the property is neat. My only complaint is the mattress is hard as a rock. There is no box spring, just a mattress. I think this is standard for Motel 6. Something they should reconsider. Even folks trying to stay somewhere on a budget need a comfortable, restful sleep.”

“Great motel all around and delivers on its promise of providing accomodation. Room is serviced every day and they change everything. It's located in a very inconvenient part of Old Saybrook where you have to drive quite a bit to go anywhere. It is right by highway 95 which you can hear all night.”
