“My family of 4 stayed for 6 nights in late March. The house was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. There are many chairs, coolers, towels, snorkeling gear, and even some floaties available for use. The view is amazing, I could never tire of the view. The beach is a short walk down a couple flights of wooden stairs. The sand is fine, soft, white with pink mixed in. You can walk for miles and miles in either direction. We will be back!”

“The property was nice, quiet and peaceful. I truly enjoy the tranquility of the property. My only concern is the area gets dark if you’re alone but the island I extremely safe. I would book again with a few friends. ”

“We loved it here. The house was very clean and had everything one would need. I suggest stopping by the house first and then go shopping as they had some items already. Didn’t need the AC because the breeze and the fans were enough. The paddle board was nice to have and we used it several times. Great spot on the island. This was our third time in Eleuthera and our favorite spot. Can’t beat Ten Bay.”

“Well located on the center of the island, 8 min walk to a quiet beach. Super clean apartment, friendly owner. We appreciated the beach chairs we could take along with us. The only disappointment is that we thought from the listing the large balcony facing the ocean would be private and adjacent to our unit, but it is the owner's balcony which we could access. No direct ocean view from our apartment.”

“Desert Rose was terrific from start to finish. The cozy house sits atop a beautifully turquois piece of the Atlantic ocean. Perfect for what we wanted...to simply relax and be in the surroundings of a largely untrafficed island. Given the central location of the property on Eluthera we traveled the island from top to bottom and enjoyed all of our adventuring and dining. “We spent 9 days and had a great time. The home is centrally located just about 7-8 minutes North of Governor's Harbor. We enjoy exploring different beaches and we were able to hit all the best beaches anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes from the house. Deborah (owner) was very responsive to our questions (usually within an hour!) and quite helpful with the home and local tips. “This was an absolutely beautiful home and property- the pictures and descriptions do not do it justice! We stayed with 2 other couples and it was perfect. It feels very secluded and private, and we never felt like we were bothering anyone or being bothered by anyone. Dinner next door was perfect and easy to get to. All management were so kind and helpful and got back to us quickly. It is the perfect spot for families or friends of all ages. Defintiely will be rebooking to take my adult children.”
