Exceptional service!!! My son got sick and I called the guest services. They sent a doctor with their staff to the room who brought all the required medicines with him. Breakfast was sent to the room for us. The dining manager, chef and the server all came together and offered to make anything that my son would like to have. Later, guest services called to see if we needed anything. I have travelled a lot but never received this kind of service in any five star hotel. Well done Taj!!!!
“Satisfying oasis for what it cost.”
After traveling in noisy, crowded, dusty India, this was a little haven - a touch of Indian luxury. It's also a 10 minute walk to the metro which I used to discover Delhi and its attractions. Staff very polite and helpful. But of course you'd expect a lot in India for what it cost.

Old world charm. Excellent location. Restaurants were excellent. Needs a little reburbishment.

There is quite a difference between the Taj Mahal Mumbai & Taj Mahal Delhi. The one in Mumbai is GREAT. This one is just OK. Taj Mahal Delhi: Great location. Very good service. Quite good rooms. A bit small. Very old and in not great condition bathrooms. Rooms & Bathrooms need an urgent up-date. Price - Quality relation is not good. I'll give a 7/10.

“NOT IMPRESSED - THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS IN DELHI”
In comparison to other Taj properties both in India and elsewhere, that I have experienced, this hotel was disappointing. The Hotel is in desperate need for refurbishment especially the Room Floors and Rooms. The decor, Room furniture, furnishings, bathrooms etc are extremely tired. Taj, generally has a tendency to improve only their Club Rooms and Floors, and the Hotel Lobby. The Hotel's Manchan Restuarant which serves Breakfast is far too small to cater for the guest capacity. We had to wait every day for a table.
