The staff never ever said anything at check-in and their promo makes reference to all services included. "We had a *wonderful* stay here. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful - they even upgraded our room for the last few nights of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The pousada is nicely decorated and located in a nice, quiet area of the city. Lastly and most importantly, breakfast! Every day was something different but always tasty and fresh. Breakfast was the best part of our day and a great opportunity to try more of the local cuisine. We highly recommend Casa da Vitoria!"

"Beautiful rooms and lovely staff with plenty of space. I would not recommend for families and the Pelourinho área can be unsafe in areas despite the amount of police officers patrolling the area. In our experience they are there to be shown and not to act. Nevertheless if you come during carnival this would be a prime spot."
