"Had such a great time at Gava! Valentina and Andrew were both so sweet, and they gave me such great tips for what to do and where to go. The hostel was very clean; you can tell they put a lot of effort into keeping the area tidy! The hostel itself is basically a room off of the main apartment with 4 beds in it, and all common spaces (kitchen, living room, bathrooms, etc.) are shared, which is great for connecting with new people. "I made a reservation for Grand Bavaro but i had to do an upgrade to Bahia principe Luxury Esmeralda, I loved Esmeralda for being on the first line close to the beach, the things i did not like was the air conditioning not being on, on the buffet and restaurants, the buffet close to the beach did not have too many options to eat and the most of the staff was not helpful you had to ask to many times for water or drinks on the buffet."
