"I have stayed & this hotel 2 months in summer & you can read my review. I have taken the risk of booking this hotel, while visiting my friends at the island for a month. I did not check in to the hotel. Neither I have stayed there the whole month. Only because I trusted the owner since its my friends & uncle. My friends are right. The greediness and nastiness of the hotel owner had no limits ! Not only he owns me the whole amount of the money for past 4 months, he also did everything for Expedia not to help me to get it ! He has said I will receive the money after I departa and 4 months later he keeps the money and refuses Expedia to help me !!! Do yourself a big favor and book any other hotel. There is a newguest house at the island. And a new large hospital is now being build near the hotel, so if you want noise and stress while paying a lot of money, go there. I have lost 2500 thousand dollars because of this super greedy hotel owner and can't even count the amount of stress all these months waiting for the refund. Never again !!!!!"

"Excellent and beautiful property. The staff, to include the General Manager, are very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The food and drinks are very good. I recommend getting the all inclusive with food or it can get expensive. The snorkeling on the island is amazing. The Ja Manafaru is a true paradise. "

"We stayed in hideaway from 22/4/24 till 26/4/24.It’s a little disappointing when you go to a high rating place like this and have the following issues arise: 1.) after all of what happened below, we went to speak to the manager, and he told us to come at 6:30 am before we left to meet with the other manager. However there was no manager on the island at 6:30am 2.) we paid for half board and ended up paying around $7.5 for tap water every time we had a meal when you assume that it’s included for dinner. 3.) left our belongings at the sea activities desk and was told it would be taken care of, after we were done, we came back to find our belongings were taken by other guests. Whilst waiting, they only offered 1 small bottle of water to me and my wife. 4.) rented a jet ski that had mechanical issues. 5.) we wanted an umbrella sun bed, and the worker told us that 4/5 were broken. He then Fixed one with adding a pin that looked as if it was deliberately taken out, and waited as if he was waiting for a tip. 6.) the servers at one of the bars would completely ignore us unless we raised our voices to be heard. 7.) went on a dolphin boat ride and were there were 6 of us. The worker only offered 4 bottles of water. 8.) last day we ordered a low fat latte, and the worker said that they have never had low fat milk after we have been ordering it for 4 days straight. 9.) we were told to get up at 6 am to leave the island at 7 am when our half board package includes breakfast from 7am "

"My 21-day stay at Nolhi Escape in January was a delightful experience. My room was large, well air-conditioned and comfortable and the staff cleaned it whenever I asked. There is plenty of hot water, the guesthouse has a lush garden and is quiet (you can hear the prayers from a nearby mosque five times a day, but they never woke me). Nolhivaranfaru, the small island on which Nolhi Escape is located, isn't the place for someone seeking a resort experience -- there are few tourists, no large resorts, water huts, slides, adventure parks, etc. -- but it is a safe, serene, hospitable place that is virtually untouched by development other than the small homes of the residents, who mostly live by fishing and farming. Nature surrounds you on the island. Nolhi Escape is just steps (about 2 minutes) from the island's beautiful uncrowded white sand beach with its warm turquoise waters. The staff of Nolhi Escape -- Sobah and Ali -- will do all they can to ensure that your stay is perfect. Ali is an amazing chef, who will cook to your preference. The meals he prepares are plentiful, delicious and healthy. The guesthouse provided me with a bicycle, and it was a delight to bike around the small island meeting the residents, who were all welcoming. There are a few small stores where you can stop for a canned mocha latte or other drink and a snack and a few small cafes. I left Nolhi Escape refreshed and knowing I would return. "
