"What a great place! A lot of historic charm and wildlife on the grounds - the staff were amazingly kind and gracious. Reception team was warm and welcoming. Excellent hot showers. In passing conversation, my husband mentioned that the Lake Naivasha Country club was where he proposed to me 25 years ago. "The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The food was excellent and when the hotel restaurant wasn't open, a hotel-owned restaurant next door had excellent food. The difficult thing about getting a 4 star rating in Nakuru, Kenya, is that the area is subject to frequent power outages and the internet service simply isn't the best. I wish this property didn't have to deal with these inconveniences because everything else was superb. "

"The was confusion and I ended up staying at the resort. I would have been very disappointed to stay at the hotel with the money I paid. The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful and my room was very quiet. The breakfast was super. Although the resort is in Karagita, I never experienced anything negative. The lighting in the room should be improved since some people come to work not just leisure."
