The views around this hotel were gorgeous and I loved the landscaping here! We got dinner here and the meal was fantastic! I highly recommend this place!"

"The property needs upgrades, beds are not comfortable and the breakfast was the worst we had in our 12 days in Portugal. Good thing they are some great cafes and restaurant nearby. "We had a tough time finding the hotel, it is in an old section with very narrow,crooked streets. The exterior is original rustic Spanish but the interior has been completely remodeled. The bar/restaurant is compact and intimate. "

"Our GPS was not able to find Torre Vella! However, having rang the owners and being able to speak Spanish, we were given perfect instructions to find the location. Very friendly, helpful, amicable young couple. We travelled with our dog, who was very well received. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had an en-suite shower room. Breakfast was served in a very pleasant dining area with views down to the coast and of the garden. During our stay, there was not a lot of choice for...

Due to an overwhelming smell of chemicals and ammonia like stench (cleaning supplies?) we were unable to stay at the hotel and were forced to find a last minute alternative. Being so value priced, we should’ve expected it, but unfortunately we were unable to sleep with such an intense odor emanating from the moment you walk in. The receptionist was lovely. "
