"Quiet hotel in the residential area. Sparingly but nicely furnished in the style of the early twentieth century. A good breakfast. Free parking doesn’t offer enough places, but we found a spot on the street."

"The reception desk is not open until 1pm which meant with an earlier arrival we were not able to leave our bags before check in. However we found the hotel location to both the old town and the main station ideal. There is a large aquarium with tropical fish in the dining room, an unusual but interesting feature."

"slightly quirky room and hotel layout. eg my room door opened into the room with a pillar imnediately behind it!. Food was excellent in the resteraunt, the hotel is set back from the village and it was lovely to be close to the woods and deer in the enclosure outside. Staff very helpfull."

"Fantastic staff from first contact at reception to the gentleman serving at the bar. The set menu in the evening was fantastic, as was the breakfast buffet. The building is very attractive. Some of the interior would benefit from an update. We will definitely return."
