"Ken and his staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was stress free. Our needs were anticipated and they were happy to assist us morning, day and evening, even when we were not on the premises. Prior to our arrival Ken arranged airport transportation. We decided to rent a vehicle and Ken arranged a car for us which was delivered to our front door. The accommodations were marvelous. Our chef went out of her way to prepare the lionfish that we caught. Even though it wasn't on the menu...

"Beautiful location in the middle of the rainforest. To wake every morning to the sounds of the rainforest was divine…. The hammock got very well used! The property is close to Douglas Charles airport, which is great, but it is extremely isolated if you don’t have your own car. It wasn’t easy to persuade tours to pick up here as most operated from Roseau on the other side of the island. "Our experience at the Pagua Bay House was great! The grounds, cabana, restaurant, and view of the bay were amazing. We ate most of our meals on-site at the bar and grill. As others have mentioned, we really appreciated the help from Sheldon and Alicia in setting up activities and providing suggestions to explore the island! "The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! "
