"Beautiful location in the middle of the rainforest. To wake every morning to the sounds of the rainforest was divine…. The hammock got very well used! The property is close to Douglas Charles airport, which is great, but it is extremely isolated if you don’t have your own car. It wasn’t easy to persuade tours to pick up here as most operated from Roseau on the other side of the island. "The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! "
