"Overall it was a nice hotel and we would likely stay here again. However, we had booked a family room and were given options of 4 twin beds or 2 twin and bunk beds. We chose the option without bunk beds since we were 4 adults (2 couples). On check-in, we found out that they only have a bunkbed option - no 4 twin bed option for 4 adults. "Week long stay over Xmas to be with children and granddaughter who live locally. The GM Hagersten is well placed for us and convenient for the Tunnelbana for when we need to travel into the city. A comfortable stay and good nights sleep for when the barnbarn has tired us out! Staff, no matter what duty, are always friendly and so attentive. "Let’s get the good stuff out of the way first: the hotel itself is in a very good location. It’s only a 15 minute walk from the island center where there’s plenty of great food and shops. The staff was very hospitable and especially patient with me on the first night when I arrived in the middle of the night. Now the rest. "Stylish, new property. Sold out when I was there which suggests price is right. But on the outskirts, so not walkable to major sights. Looked popular with corporate worker/conference stays. Bus lines right outside the door, or $13 Uber ride to train station. Dog friendly."

"English speaking traveler, visited twice and found everything very nice. Desk staff was very friendly and they speak English very well. The breakfast buffet is great, but pricey."
