The food in the hotel is standard and across the lane is the Pure Soul restaurant that has good food and many kinds of fruit drinks; it is operated by the same management. "I stayed at the Alpine Club in June with a friend. Contrary to the listing, there was no wireless internet anywhere on the property, no coffee/tea maker in the room, no laundry services, no iron or ironing board on request. While we were there there was also no hot water, when we wanted to bathe we would call for a bucket of hot water to be brought up to the room. The noise from the water pump is intermittent and incredibly loud, we could hear it on and off through the day and night. To get from...
