Excellent!Posted May 14, 2015
Cons: Nope, perfect
Location: Perfect, close enough to town but set back up the hill so it is nice and quiet. Only a 10 minute walk to Lynmouth seafront
If you want a lovely hotel, friendly, helpful staff and greay food then this is the place for you. It is quiet enough that you won't get disturbed but close enough that you can pop into town. Lovely restaurants nearby or enjoy the evening meals that the hotel provide 6 nights a week. The beds are so comfortable. Wifi works too! Overall fabulous stay.

Beautiful viewsPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The room was well laid out. Keith and Diane were lovely and anything we needed they let us know.
Cons: From my perspective, I would have liked breakfast a little earlier, but when we did eat breakfast it was cooked exactly as requested.
Location: We ate at The Crown and Sopranos - both good value for money.
We arrived on a sunny but very cold April day. Our GPS had led us a merry dance between Lynmouth and Lynton, but on our second lap through town we saw the sign for Ingleside (just a few doors up from the cliff top railway) and negotiated the steep drive - which was fortuitous as I had thought we would have to park at the bottom and walk up. Our room had amazing views over the town and was very well equipped with tea, coffee etc.

Excellent accommodation in wonderful setting.Posted Jun 10, 2014
This hotel comes very highly recommended, excellent service from Diana who is a lovely person, incredibly friendly and very very helpful, nothing is to difficult and it is so easy to feel at home here. Rooms are very clean and most have lovely views over lynton. Breakfast was really tasty and likewise evening meal if you require. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, the friendly, helpful and thoughtful nature of the hostess is enough in itself to give 5 stars. If you want to stay anywhere in this area for an excellent price and fantastic service this should be your first choice.

Handy to what we wanted to seePosted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff and comfortable.
Cons: Being Australians we found the shower a bit strange.
As my father was born I wanted to see the house he lived in. Unfortunately was unanble to find his twin's grave in the church yard.
