Hello Susan, I am so sorry that you had to stay in a smoking room. You had booked through Expedia and when you called they must have quoted you a higher rate for modification. If you had made a request at check in at the property the front desk clerk would have gladly changed the room for you. We do modifications all the time especially smoking rooms to non smoking. Lot of our guests make that mistake.
