Watching the Clyde
This visit was all about returning to a well loved area. The cottage was the perfect spot, with good sized comfortable rooms which let in the beautiful outdoors and lots of light. A well stocked kitchen made food preparation easy. Most importantly, the Clyde was there in all its glory.

Lovely clean cottage
The cottage was spotless and well equipped with binoculars, piano, kitchen equipment to bake, roast and barbecue. Good for disabled as ground floor bedroom and toilet facility. We had a great break, with our daughter and dogs, enjoying walks locally.

Family getaway 😁
The accommodation and location was brilliant for us as we love the outdoors. It was my daughter’s 19th birthday and she wanted to get away with friend and family before going traveling. My eldest daughter came with her boyfriend who are both in their final year of Uni doing Ocean science and Marine Conservation, they spent hours at the bottom of the garden in the rock pools and surprised how much they found. We all went squad biking on her birthday which is highly recommended. There are some fantastic walks, lakes for paddle boarding and pubs with really friendly locals. Then back to lovely accommodation with a log fire, really relaxing atmosphere and very well equipped. We would highly recommend and we hope to be back very soon x

Toward stay at Bihar
Toward was a quiet holiday but i was aware of this prior to booking and it was just what i needed. We did have to call the host when we arrived as the TV was not working and he came to the house the next morning, early, to mend the issue. Excellent attention. The house could do with a booklet, explaining heating, TV controls and hob wirking instructions. It may also be useful for a light at the back door, as i could not see my dog when he went out.

5 star property within all the elements
Bihar cottage is absolutley fantastic, well equipped kitchen, cosy living area with log fire, surround sound and a tuned piano which we adored playing. The beds are SUPER comfortable. The most special aspect is the back door which opens up to a large garden leading down to the sea. if you like a cold swim this is perfect for you. The sun rises behind the mountains in the distance. Very relaxing holiday. Would highly recommend.

Our 4th visit to bihar and it has never disappointed, the perfect place to get away from it all and take in the stunning view, our dog loved the huge gardens and also the water, its his disneyland! We'll definitely be back

A wonderful stay over the Christmas period. Views are so peaceful. Everything you could possibly need was provided . Hoist was fab. Any questions answered so promptly. Didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back. The only thing I forgot to ask the Hoist was i required snow Christmas Day. 😊

What a view
We stayed for 6 nights, with family and 2 labs. The house is warm, cosy well equipped. The view from every room at the back of the house is fantastic. The dogs loved the garden which led down to a rocky beach. I enjoyed a cup of tea in the morning watching the ferries passing. The house is in a perfect location to explore Argyll. Would highly recommend to all.

Lovely week away! Beautiful house in a great location. Stunning views of the Clyde. Had a great time watching submarines and ships sail past. Great walks from the house too and only a short drive from Dunoon for essentials. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic Stay
Had the best weekend in this beautiful cottage with stunning garden views. This property was the most well equipped we’ve ever stayed in, loads of space and storage and look forward to hopefully returning at some point in the future. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Brihar
Comfortable, clean and really well appointed, we spent a luxurious week here at this lovely home from home. We saw seals off the lighthouse point, herons, dolphins off the bay in Dunoon and found starfish, sea urchins, cabs and hermit crabs on the shore in front of the house. A totally chilled week.

Hidden gem!
A lovely, spacious and well appointed cottage in a beautiful setting, with Spectacular views across the Firth of Clyde. Long gardens back and front ideal for exercising the dog. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, obviously helped by the glorious weather.

A great holiday location
A most enjoyable place to unwind and relax. View was amazing and the four of us were sad to leave. On having warm sunny days it would have been good to lie on the hammock and canvas bed unfortunately they were broken. The home was very comfortable. Thanks.

This was our 3rd visit & won't be the last. The perfect place to unwind , bihar has all you need in the kitchen, lovely fire in the living room and a cracking surround sound system. loads of space and the dog loved the gardens and waterfront

Our second visit to Bihar this year! We stayed on our way home after spending some time further north. It's a lovely house with a great view. We enjoyed watching the birds, dolphins and the odd submarine and it's a great base to explore the area. Patrick is very responsive if needed and the house was very clean snd as described. Highly recommended.

Hidden Gem
We had a wonderful stay, enjoying the fantastic views overlooking the loch, seal & submarine spotting, plus spectacular sunrises. Great spacious accommodation, well equipped with brilliant sound system & a lovely piano. We explored many walks in the area such as Puks Glen (incredible waterfalls) Invererary, Dunoon, Ardentinny & much more. A very special place we’d all love to return to!

The best views ever!
The pictures in the listing don't do this glorious property justice - the views are simply sublime and everchanging - you'll never get bored just sitting in the garden watching the world go by. The house itself is clean, comfortable and well equipped, and there is good access to a variety of local attractions (if you can drag yourself away from the views!). So good that we immediately booked to come again next year!

Beautiful cottage and location!
We cannot fault the property at all. Huge gardens both front and back. Walk out on the back garden and you are met with stunning views of the sea. Our dogs particularly loved the rocky beach and having a paddle. Inside the open fire was lovely in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed. Lovely views from the bedrooms and the sitting room. Exceptionally clean. Overall an excellent base to visit the surrounding areas. We'd recommend going to Benmore Botanical Gardens, Pucks Glen and the Isle of Bute. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic property and view
Had a great time at Bihar. It's in a quiet spot with a beautiful view out to sea. Ideal for watching the passing boats, seals, dolphins and birds. Great base for day trips to the surrounding area for walks and cycle rides or we were equally happy enjoying the house sitting in front of the fire with a glass of wine. Would like to return.

We are just home following our 4 night stay at this property. The house is excellent, clean and spacious. We stay with our fogs and the front and back gardens where great for them, also a wee daily swim for them wads enjoyed. Is a short drive from a few villages, beach, attractions and dog walks. Would love to go back.

Absolutely loved our stay. The house is very very well equipped with all sorts of gadgets and things to keep you entertained. The views a breathtaking and if the weather was a little warmer, we’d have spent just as much time in the garden as we did inside. Would love to stay again and would 100% recommend.
