"Our hosts were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The location was perfect with cute downtown Joseph within a short walk and Wallowa Lake only a mile down the road. We had everything we needed."

"This property is in a great location. We went on a few beautiful nearby hikes; we played at the lake which is very close and convenient; we spent time in and around Joseph. The property has a large parking area that worked great for us with our jet ski/small boat. Kathy was a considerate host and communication was prompt. Thank you!"
"Our favorite stop when we're traveling I-84. Quiet, comfy beds, great breakfast and that cocktail at the end of the day doesn't hurt. I never have it but my husband says the evening soup and salad bar is quire good."
"We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were cozy, comfortable and clean. The kids loved the pool. We rode the Go-karts up the road and the two miniature golf locations."
"Updated property and more remodeling going on. Nice rooms, very helpful staff, dining facility OK. Only average 3 star was location area. A few vagrants were "milling" around, but did not approach me."
"Unique historic property that has been very sympathetically restored. Rooms are well appointed and reasonably sized. Staff are very helpful and the location is charming and walkable. Unfortunately, some of the furniture in the room is so outdated it’s hard to relax in the couch/chairs. While the first night was very peaceful, the second night we could hear kids screaming, jumping on furniture (maybe that’s why it’s uncomfortable), running and adults talking loudly well into the night. "Everything looked clean, and everything worked. Only downside of my visit was upon checkout, when I asked for a receipt. I was told since I booked it online, it will be emailed to me. Good grief, I need to turn a written copy in. Is it too much to let me verify..while I am there... what I was charged, and provide me a paper receipt? Not impressed!!! "

"Very comfortable room; a coffee maker would have been appreciated. It was nice to have a patio but there were no deck chairs. Room was quiet and felt secure; other than no coffee maker was well appointed. There was no info in room as to on site facilities, check out time etc"
