"We had a perfect weekend for three friends from grade school to reconnect. The weather was perfect and the house was perfect. There were three bedrooms on three different floors, a deck to view nature, and a large kitchen table to eat, play games and laugh. The host was wonderful and sent suggestions ahead of time. Their home was well stocked and very comfortable. We had a picnic at Galena vineyards, shopped main street, ate at Galena brewery and did the Goat trek! We would love to come back...

"We enjoyed this beautiful historic home with all the updated amenities. We especially enjoyed watching a family of foxes out the kitchen window in the early mornings and evenings. The kitchen area was easy and spacious. If you can walk hills, you'll love walking to and from downtown Galena."

It’s super-clean, with character and an historical ambience. We found so much to do in the Galena area, including nearby towns and the Galena River Trail. "It was a good stay overall, however the kitchen counter has/had an ant issue. maybe it's a seasonal thing but...to many ants. The master bedroom had a strong odor. I like the idea of pet friendly, however the less carpet the better. The house itself is in a great location, the deck is really nice, and the hot tub works great. Thanks"

"My family and I stayed for a wedding at Ashton Hill Farm. It was a great place for our family to hang out. Had everything we needed, very nicely decorated and comfortable. We had our dog with us and the doggie touches were nice and appreciated. Great backyard although we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we wanted to. Would definitely stay there again and hope that we do."

"Stayed here for a long weekend in beautiful Galena! Fur baby was welcomed & the townhouse had everything from a kennel, leash, bowls etc! We loved the golf course and the clubhouse! "The location of the house was perfect it was close to town. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub was awesome!"

"Sandy's location is excellent. Out of the crowded Galena area, but close enough for an easy drive over for the day (about 20 - 25min traffic based). Breakfast was delicious and different every morning - Sandy will work with your dietary restrictions - talk with her about it. The space was large - entire upstairs with it's own kitchen if you prefer to cook your other meals yourself. Deck is lovely with a great view - could hardly believe how many stars in the sky. We enjoyed a fire in the firepit...

"We had 14 people stay for a business retreat. Each had their own bedroom and bathroom. We gathered in the great room for our meeting, experienced cooking together and a ‘family dinner’ around the big table. We hiked as our activity and enjoyed a bonfire too. We went into galena one evening for dinner - just a quick 20 minute drive. We enjoyed our short stay and would consider returning."
