Beautiful property with a lovely outdoor area. We had a wonderful time over all and would recommend this with the following considerations / things id rather have known ahead of time: that the pool and patio areas are on camera. Also if you're a night owl, you may need to let the hosts know because they turn off all outdoor lights at 1am. **There is also additional charges for heating up the hot tub per each use.

Beautiful Villa Escondido
We had a wonderful time in Escondido. The little villa was the perfect relaxing place after our busy week. We recommend Swami’s for breakfast and check out Stone Brewery for dinner. The animal safari park was a nice place to visit. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

Perfect location and accommodations! Clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Julia was generous and attentive. Clear instructions and helpful information for our stay. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting by the pool watching the birds over morning coffee. We will definitely stay here again.

We ended our California vacation at this lovely villa. It's located right next to the pool, which is large and inviting. The villa is part of a magnificent home. The villa has a combination bedroom/living room/kitchen. The bathroom was a plus. It was really two rooms, one with a shower, sink, and vanity, another with a tub, sink, and vanity. We were comfortable, and it was a great value. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We'd be happy to return.

Just wow is all I can say. I am so happy to have discovered Villa Escondido. It is truly one of the most restful, restorative and lovely VRBOs I've been in. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped villa/casita with everything you'll need. The grounds are spectacular and the pool is a dream; I swam in it every morning and evening during my stay. It is as beautiful as it looks. Julia is a great host, very communicative and friendly. I travel a lot to North County to visit family and I'll never stay anywhere else!

First Birthday Weekend
We were able to snag this gem to join in celebrating a girlfriend’s kiddos first birthday. This stay was one of our best. The property is pristine, private and had everything we could have needed. Bed and futon were melt worthy. The bathroom had ample space for two gals. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with the randoms. Our hosts immediately responded to questions, though we needed for nothing. Cannot wait to return!!

Hands down this was the BEST place to stay in Escondido. It’s beautiful and relaxing! Julia, Robert, & their daughter Niko (and pup Ignacio) were FANTASTIC hosts. They give you lots of privacy, and are also available anytime you need them. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely Escondido Villa
I wanted a quiet getaway in the San Diego area to act as a homebase for several trips that I planned to take in the general area. I'm glad I chose this location, it was extremely comfortable and the host provided a wonderful assortment of amenities. If I return to this area I will certainly check availability of this location again.

Unique slice of paradise
Every detail was covered during our delightful and relaxing stay. We enjoyed our getaway weekend AND our Navy son was able to join us for a much needed getaway for him too. We will go back and highly recommend Villa Escondido to others visiting the San Diego area.

Wonderful Sunrise and view of the pool. Very nice and discreet owner. Lots of privacy and plenty to benefit around the appartment and the swimming pool area. Personally I like really hard mattress and that bed could be a bit firmer. As I stayed for business internet a tad faster would make it perfect, for video call (no disruption or other issue).

Relaxing, quiet and private
The awesome view we saw as we drove up was matched by the comfortable, private, quiet setting. We had 5 rooms and lots of space with the feel of an apartment. The outdoor area was also very pleasant with lush gardens and lots of outdoor seating around the pool. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating and the price was competitive. Highly recommended!

Lovely property gated and huge. Only 1 1/2 miles from major streets and tons of options for shopping, eating and walking. The rental unit was very clean, organized and had plenty of space. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We particullarly enjoyed the pool! While it was very hot the pool kept us cool. The temperature of the pool was perfect as was the size! Inside the air con worked well and kept us comfortable! The bathroom was nice and very spacious! The bed was very comfortable! I hope to be able to stay there the next time i am in town!

The booking process was so easy and our hostess, Julia, was so accommodating when we had some personal crisis come up with our scheduled dates. Julia was very empathetic and very responsive to our needs. The check in process was so seemless and we really felt like we were one of the family. The poolside villa was secluded and we had sole use of the pool. Perfect for a restful and relaxing weekend with my adult daughter.

Just returned from our week long stay at Escondido Villa. I was a little skeptical because some of the pics on the listing were blurry but we were pleasantly surprised with the beauty of the grounds and the guest house. The space was perfect for 2. All linens, starter toiletries, pantry staples etc. were provided. The interior was well maintained and clean. The outdoor patio area could have been powerwashed but it didn't detract from using the beautiful pool. The outdoor tv and speaker system were perfect for impromptu pool parties for 2. The hosts Julia and Robert were very responsive and made sure we felt at home. This was a perfect base for my 50th birthday trip. We visited Orange County and San Diego County cities throughout the week. I highly recommend the villa! I hope to return!

The host could not have been more attentive. But only when we had a request. Otherwise very private. Great location and great studio room with huge bath with separate vanities. Pool and spa nice as was a second tv just outside front door on pool deck. Very enjoyable stay.
