If you LOVE the sound of trains passing, then this is the hotel for you. And I'm being sarcastic, of course. Man, you can hear the trains. Parking is difficult if you have a larger truck or hauling a trailer. Staff? The television remote in our room wasn't working, so I went to the front desk for help. "How do you turn the television on?" I asked. The woman at the front desk said, "Hit "On."" "Oh, okay," I said, thinking "Wow, what a b***h." No, the television STILL won't work, so the woman at the front desk came to the room to see for herself. Then "maintenance" comes in. "Nope. Doesn't work." So, we have to change to the room next door all for a working television. Floors aren't even. The peel-n'-stick flooring is coming up at the ends of some pieces. And while moving out belongings from one room to the other, I dropped a glass bottle of cold tea, SHATTERING on the cement walkway. The front desk person went to the maintenance room and handed ME the broom and dust bin to clean it up! She said, "Get all the glass up. Someone could get hurt." I said, "If we didn't have to move to ANOTHER room (without an apology from her for the inconvenience, by the way), this wouldn't have happened!" "Well," she responded, "You didn't have to move so fast!" Meaning that it's my fault that I was angry at having to MOVE to another room, and in doing so, moving and doing it "so fast," I wouldn't have dropped the glass bottle. "Pet friendly"? A large cat box behind the hotel.

Our stay was Good until later in the evening. the next door couple were having a party and there was lots of yelling and door slamming. We did try to call the front but no one was answering. We felt very unsafe.

I like that when a customer was disturbing the peace after hours and yelled a racial slur, suggesting that the hotel should hire more white people, apparently to do a better job than the service he recieved from someone of a different race, one of the staff addressed him in the morning amd told him that the he was no longer allowed to stay at the hotel for the night.

Closet to downtown and to route 66, easy access to dining. But careful they charged me an extra fifty dollars for no reason.

An alright place to stay and accommodating
Was an alright stay older place not super clean but not bad to just sleep in vending machine candy was old and plan to eat out for breakfast continental had nothing hot except coffee mostly packaged things all in all to sleep n keep your stuff it’s an alright place to stay they did accommodate my wanting to be on ground level which was nice everyone was very nice as well

The hotel staff were wonderful! Very hospitable! Check in was a breeze, and received dog friendly dinner recommendations. Dog area is a nice plus. Morning guy was superb. He talked with guests, made everyone feel welcome, and even gave my dog a treat. Felt right at home here, and would gladly stay again!
