Lovely little boutique hotelPosted Aug 17, 2014
Could not fault the hotel for anything-rooms were spotless, staff friendly and helpful, facilities as advertised. The hotel is close to a local bus route and only 10 minutes from the centre of Florence. Buses ran regularly and until late at night. The surrounding area is very pleasant and quiet with a nice little park and shops nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

The best place for this moneyPosted Jul 18, 2014
The stuff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The hotel is in a very nice, clean and quit area. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to the center. There is a lot of mosquito. But it looks like they are everywhere in Florence, our friends stayed in different place, and also complained on mosquito. This place is better then I expected, I would come back, but the room can be cleaner.

Florence is very expensivePosted May 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Florence is a very expensive city, especially during the high season. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Panama. The hotel is clean and quiet and breakfast is enough to get your day started. It is somewhat of a walk to the historic center of Florence from the Hotel Panama but the hotel's rate makes it worth while. There are other hotels much closer to the main points of interest but be prepared to pay accordingly.

Lovely friendly hotelPosted Apr 11, 2014
I received a warm welcome after a long days travel. The owner was a real gentleman and was very helpful, providing a map and highlighting places of interest. Cappuccinos in the morning were great and the facilities were clean and perfectly adequate, although the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze!

Nice hotelPosted Apr 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel was comfortable and just right for our stay in Florence. It is walking distance from the station and also the Duomo (about 25 minutes each). The breakfast was basic but adequate. We were glad we took our own tea and coffee making items as they were not provided in our room, however there was a fridge in which we could keep fresh milk rather than using the uht sachets that we had taken with us. The guy on the front desk who welcomed us when we arrived was very knowledgeable about Florence and gave us a local map and marked on it the top 5 must see sights. That was very useful and appreciated. We would happily stay here again in the future.
