great place if you have a carPosted Apr 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Out in the middle of nowhere but if you have a car, a great value with free wifi, breakfast, and parking. Hotel is clean and staff friendly. It was a perfect stop for our drive from Florence to Milan.

BeautifulPosted Nov 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was to that point the best hotel we stayed in Italy. Very nice, clean, good size rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. The hotel was quite remote, which I new when booking and planned it that way as I wanted to be away from Florence traffic for transit to Venice the next morning. Wish I would have been here in warmer weather this seemed like a very nice place to relax and wind down.

Great stay.Posted Oct 8, 2012
Pros: Restaurant .
Rooms required sound proofing, next door guests very active bed time.Location slightly isolated from town but little need to leave hotel grounds plenty to see and peaceful.Superb restaurant on site with classic food and friendly staff, more than enough to eat.

Pleasant StayPosted Sep 16, 2012
Hotel is a lttle out of the way so a car is essential. Good base for touring the area and many good destinations within 1 hour. Good restaurant on site and three or four others within five minutes. Breakfast very good in both choice and quality/freshness. Staff always helpful and pleasant

Great for exploring the country side of Florece!Posted Aug 4, 2012
Pros: The cool mountain air!
Cons: Difficult to find
Location: Difficult to find but in a great spot!
Nice staff, nice hotel and a nice location for exploring the countryside. The only problem is that you need a GPS to find it. I drove around for a while and had to ask several people before I finally found the hotel. It feels like you are driving way off into the county side but, in fact, you never really go far away from the highway.

An Splendid HotelPosted Jun 27, 2011 on Hotels.com
If you travel by a car, it's a great choice of a hotel in the vicinity of Florence. 20 mins to downtown Florence, romantic location in mountains, perfect service, a very reasonable price.

Will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit TuscanyPosted Nov 18, 2010
The location and the hotel were beautiful, and the lady at the front desk was outstanding with her service. The fact that she spoke German helped a lot, she was very kind offering information, making sure we were comfortable, and always with a smile. Hotel Managers: She made our stay unforgetable, in spite of the rain we had for 3 days.

Lovely hotel in the Florence countrysidePosted Jun 29, 2010
We highly recommend this hotel. It is a few miles out of Florence in the forest. Our room was clean, modern and had a beautiful balcony overlooking forrest and a stream bubbling through the trees. We even heard deer during the night. The hotel has a nice restaurant, and there are several more close at hand in the area. Excellent value for money!
